4 years old, @35 lbs. House trained, good with dogs. Very good on a leash. Kenny is shy and needs more socializing and patience. He warms up with attention. And he loves to run and play. He came with a female 7 yr old Labrador who he was good friends with. He was more confident with her around, so he may do best with a dog pal in a new home. The previous owners said he is good with cats. He was much loved since a puppy by a wonderful senior couple who are very sad to now be without their 'babies' - they had to give the dogs up because of poor health. Kenny's loving home is someone back for her second pal from B&B.  He will be a service dog - and is moving to N. About 3 years old and @60lbs. Friendly to people and walks well on the leash. He and brother Sandy were strays and were in the finder's home almost a month. He is good with other dogs and well behaved.  Nice family companions - come meet them....they are together in a roomy area at B&. He is fine with being bathed. Bear is a great loving goofy pup. Bear is funny and smart. He would be in your lap all day if you allowed it. He loves to cary around his stuffed animals. Bear loves to go on walks. He has has so much love to give. He would do great in a loving home.

He’s a tennis-ball-junkie, and he just can’t stop. See his videos!  At just 10 mos old in March of 2020, he was a scared pup trying to survive on the streets of San Bernardino. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Oh my goodness, Luke, you handsome fella you! Luke was urgent at SBC due to limping and a broken jaw. Thanks to Redlands Friends of Shelter Animals partnering with us, and Hope for Paws Rescue sponsoring his medical, we were able to get him out of there and into surgery right away! Luke’s ortho specialist determined the limping was from an older soft tissue or nerve injury in his shoulder, and after physical therapy to build back muscle, he is doing great!  He had a Mandibulectomy (removal of part of the jaw bone) and had a separated symphysis wired back together. As you can see, he healed beautifully! He is guesstimated to be about 3-4 years old, but he acts like a big, goofy puppy. He wants to play all day, and then get some good cuddles in.  He is the perfect family dog — friendly, energetic, and so happy. He looks like a Lab/Shepherd — such a beauty! He also seems like be a water dog, as evidenced by the fun he has with his water bowl. Nash is a special "rescue only" dog who has bite experiences.  He will not be available until we have been able to work with him and feel comfortable in him meeting experienced adults. This posting is FYI only - He is 6 years young and 55 lbs. He has boundaries, but he's a fun-loving dog.  He cues when he's annoyed, so learning his cues and working patiently with him will alleviate a lot of prior behaviors.   He gets along well with other dogs [some don't get along with him, but he's been fine with them], and let's our volunteers cut his nails without a fuss.   NO APPOINTMENTS at this time. Applications only from adults experienced with big dog training. NO APPOINTMENTS at this time. No children, no cats, no other dogs. He did get along well with Maverick here, who was 20 pounds bigger than Nash. For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible.
