Story
Hi, my name is Rose. I’m a 2-year-old, spayed female, great Pyrenees mix weighing about 70 lbs. I am in foster with another Pyrenees mix with no issues except I`m still reactive on leash to other dogs. I have been attending regular training sessions and am on behavior medication that is helping. I would do best in a home with a yard and maybe one other dog that likes to play. Give the shelter a call if you want to schedule a meet.

*Adoptions are currently by appointment. If you'd like to learn more or you are interested in adopting, please use the "Apply for Adoption" button to complete our adoption survey. This survey helps us learn more about you and answer any questions you may have, it is not a commitment to adopt.* Hi, I’m Pixie! I’m a beautiful Rottweiler/Lab mix with a sweet heart and a gentle spirit. When I first arrived at the shelter, I was understandably a little unsure of my new surroundings and needed some time to feel comfortable with the people caring for me. With patience, plenty of treats, and lots of love, I’ve discovered that I really enjoy having friends—and once I trust you, I’m happy to show you my affectionate side! These days, I’m much more relaxed and enjoy spending time with my favorite people. I’m a sweet girl who loves attention, cuddles, and being reminded that I’m safe and cared for. I’m still taking things at my own pace when it comes to meeting new people and experiences, but I’ve already shown just how much I can blossom with patience and positive interactions. I can coexist with other calm, respectful dogs and would likely do best with a canine companion who is comfortable giving me space and letting our friendship develop naturally. As with any dog, introductions should be slow and thoughtful to make sure everyone feels comfortable. If you’re looking for a loving companion who will reward your patience with plenty of affection, I might just be your girl! Fill out an adoption survey to learn more about me and see if we could be a great match.

Milo loves to play with other dogs and go on hikes. He can be fearful of new people and situations so he will need a handler who is confident and willing to work on some training. I'm an optimistic, energetic girlie who loves playtime and outdoor adventure! I am very treat motivated, and you should see all my fun toys! I really bond with people over a good game of fetch, which helps me get to know new people. I've been told I'm really smart, and I LOVE the pool and splashing in the water! I am looking for a patient and loving companion who is experienced in caring for larger dogs and someone who will take the time to continue my positive based training and desensitization training. They should be able to manage slow introductions, especially with new dogs and men. Once acquainted, I make a great fur friend! I am as sweet as I am energetic and playful, and I hope we can make the best team! If you agree, fill out an adoption survey and come get to know me!
