Story
Meet Maggie! 💕At just 10 months old, this adorable Lab/Boxer mix is still very much a puppy at heart — full of wiggles, zoomies, and endless love. Maggie was brought to H.A.L.O. after her previous owner realized her big puppy energy was just a little more than they could keep up with. But don’t worry — that energy just means she’s ready for fun!Maggie previously lived with another dog and did great, and she’s also done well during temperament testing with other dogs here at the shelter. She’s never lived with a cat before, but when introduced to one here, she was friendly — though she did seem to think a game of chase might be on the table. Slow introductions and supervision would be important in a feline home. She already knows how to sit (especially if treats are involved!) but could benefit from continued basic obedience training — she’s smart and eager, she just needs guidance and consistency. Maggie is crate trained and used to sleeping in her kennel at night in her previous home. Her absolute favorite things? Tennis balls, playing catch, fetch, and honestly anything that involves moving and having fun. If you’re looking for a hiking buddy, running partner, or a playful best friend to keep you active, Maggie is the one for you. When she’s not busy playing, she’s more than happy to shower you with puppy kisses.Maggie would thrive with an active family ready to embrace her zest for life and continue helping her grow into the amazing adult dog she’s destined to be. 💖Requirements: Martingale CollarAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Action Jackson – The Chill Companion You’ve Been Waiting For Despite his action-packed name, Action Jackson is more of a laid-back homebody than a thrill-seeker. This 9.5-year-old hound/lab/mutt mix is all about the simple pleasures—quiet afternoons, leisurely walks, and lounging with his people. Personality & Lifestyle Jackson is calm, polite, and dog-friendly. He enjoys meeting people and is great with older kids, though cats are still an unknown. He’s not the type to chase tennis balls for hours, but he will happily keep you company while you sip coffee or work in the garden. Training & Habits He’s crate trained, house-trained, and while he doesn’t know formal commands, his eagerness to please makes him a quick learner. He’s not overly treat-motivated but will happily accept the occasional canned food snack. The Perfect Match If you’re looking for a relaxed, loyal friend who values companionship over constant activity, Jackson could be your guy. He’s healthy, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Adoption Details Jackson is adoptable through The London Sanctuary. Story
Rosie is a sweet, playful girl that does best as the only dog. She loves getting affection, sniffing around in the yard and also just lounging around. She is great with adults, kids, and just about anyone that wants to give her some rubs and/or a treat :) She is also a great protector--always paying attention to what is going on outside the house. Rosie is about 8 years old (we adopted her in 2018 and she was approximately 1.5 years old at that time). She has been a great companion, but our youngest son has a dog allergy so we would love to get her rehomed with an individual or a family that can give her the attention she deserves.

Story
Meet Jazz — Sweet, Athletic, and Ready for Her Forever Home Jazz is a beautiful 2 year-old Lab/Greyhound mix with a big heart and an active spirit. Rescued from a neglectful situation, she has proven to be resilient, loving, and eager to learn. Jazz is super sweet, loves to cuddle, and enjoys sleeping on the bed, curling up in a chair, or stretching out on the couch. She knows her basic commands, is house-trained, and clearly lets you know when she needs to go out. Jazz is prong-collar trained and walks nicely beside her handler. She is currently in professional training and is highly trainable—learning quickly, responding and thriving well to marker-based training. Because of her Greyhound heritage, Jazz needs an experienced handler and a secure 6-foot fenced yard where she can safely run. My current situation doesn’t allow that, which is why I’m committed to finding her the right home. Jazz will reward your time and effort with love, loyalty, and joy. Home visit required.

Story
Nala's New Life Rescue would like to introduce these lovable puppies, Simba and Milo! They are 8-week-old male Lab mixes, and they love to be loved. They are neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Their mother is a Black Lab mix, and they are wonderful with kids and other dogs. Milo and Simba will make excellent family pets. In an ideal world, they would love to be adopted and grow up together, but we are seeking loving, responsible forever homes for these precious boys. We adopt only in our area, and we are located in Stuart, Martin County, FL. If you are interested, please apply on our website at www.nalasrescue.org. We do veterinarian reference verification and home visit.
