Story
Rosie is a sweet, playful girl that does best as the only dog. She loves getting affection, sniffing around in the yard and also just lounging around. She is great with adults, kids, and just about anyone that wants to give her some rubs and/or a treat :) She is also a great protector--always paying attention to what is going on outside the house. Rosie is about 8 years old (we adopted her in 2018 and she was approximately 1.5 years old at that time). She has been a great companion, but our youngest son has a dog allergy so we would love to get her rehomed with an individual or a family that can give her the attention she deserves.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Action Jackson – The Chill Companion You’ve Been Waiting For Despite his action-packed name, Action Jackson is more of a laid-back homebody than a thrill-seeker. This 9.5-year-old hound/lab/mutt mix is all about the simple pleasures—quiet afternoons, leisurely walks, and lounging with his people. Personality & Lifestyle Jackson is calm, polite, and dog-friendly. He enjoys meeting people and is great with older kids, though cats are still an unknown. He’s not the type to chase tennis balls for hours, but he will happily keep you company while you sip coffee or work in the garden. Training & Habits He’s crate trained, house-trained, and while he doesn’t know formal commands, his eagerness to please makes him a quick learner. He’s not overly treat-motivated but will happily accept the occasional canned food snack. The Perfect Match If you’re looking for a relaxed, loyal friend who values companionship over constant activity, Jackson could be your guy. He’s healthy, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Adoption Details Jackson is adoptable through The London Sanctuary. His adoption fee is fully sponsored Home visits are required (non-negotiable). Fostered in: Baker County, FL Ready to give this gentle soul his happily-ever-after? Story
Our poor sweet Chip. Chip was taken into the shelter when her owner passed away, and was passed from foster home to foster home because she is too gentle for the shelter and would get scared. She is an approximately five year old black lab, and still has so much life left to live! She is a gentle soul that just wants a home where she can wait for everyone to get home from work and then snuggle on the couch. She gets along with other dogs, but prefers cuddling with her people to playing with other dogs. Chip is ready for her forever home. Would you consider giving her a nice place to recover from her loss/a new family she can shift her love to?

Story
Meet Rita! Rita's owner sadly passed away and she ended up at the shelter. We saw what a treasure she is and scooped in to help her along her journey to her new home! Miss Rita is all sass. She will tell it like it is, and reminds us of one of the Golden Girls! She is exceptionally sweet, and just wants a warm bed she can lay on all day or a sun spot she can lounge in! Rita is crate trained, doggy door trained, and loves to go on short walks. She has some arthritis, but it does not stop her (just means she would be better in a home that does not walk miles every day). With a slow introduction she is good with other dogs, and does not seem to mind cats. Before going home, we will spay her, clean her teeth, and make sure she is up to date on everything so she can focus on spending her golden years with her new family! She is eligible for our Golden Paws program, which seeks to pair senior dogs with senior citizens in either an adoption or long term foster scenario. Please reach out to us for more details! Our applications/information are on our website at www.mysaltydog.com!

Story
Bernie a 11 year old black lab mix that came to us from the shelter in Miami, which is no place for an amazing dog like him. He loves to go on walks and is a character. He is almost always wagging his tail and loves nothing more than a good snuggle session with his people. He still has plenty of spring to his step, and likely could be a lot younger than the shelter said based on his teeth, so would love a home that will take him on plenty of walks and give him lots of love! We are located in Brevard County, FL. He is eligible for our Salty Dog Rescue Golden Paws Program because of his age and temperament. Please see www.mysaltydog.com for more information about the program.
