This 9.5-year-old hound/lab/mutt mix is all about the simple pleasures—quiet afternoons, leisurely walks, and lounging with his people. Personality & Lifestyle Jackson is calm, polite, and dog-friendly. He enjoys meeting people and is great with older kids, though cats are still an unknown. Story
Rosie is a sweet, playful girl that does best as the only dog. She loves getting affection, sniffing around in the yard and also just lounging around. She is great with adults, kids, and just about anyone that wants to give her some rubs and/or a treat :) She is also a great protector--always paying attention to what is going on outside the house. Rosie is about 8 years old (we adopted her in 2018 and she was approximately 1.5 years old at that time). She has been a great companion, but our youngest son has a dog allergy so we would love to get her rehomed with an individual or a family that can give her the attention she deserves.

Story
Hey there, I’m Autumn – a yellow lab mix with sunshine in my fur and rocket fuel in my paws! 🌟Nobody really knows my past since I came to H.A.L.O. as a stray, but what I can tell you is this: I’m a happy, friendly, super-energetic girl who LOVES to run. Seriously, if zoomies were an Olympic sport, I’d already have the gold medal.I’m strong (like, really strong) and excitable, so I’ll need an active family who can keep up with me. When I see an open door or gate, my first thought is “Adventure time!” so I definitely need someone confident with a leash and mindful of my exit-seeking skills. A fenced yard might help, but let’s be real—I’m the kind of girl who may still try to outsmart it, so supervision and secure handling are key.I get along with other dogs depending on their vibe—if they match my playful, goofy energy, we’ll be besties. Because I sometimes don’t know how to control my excitement, I’d do best with kids 5+ who won’t get knocked over by my “enthusiastic love.”Sadly, I did test positive for heartworms, so I’m listed as foster-to-adopt. That means H.A.L.O. is covering the cost of my treatment (which I completed on 12/4!) and will get me re-tested in May 2026 to be sure everything is all cleared up. I’ll also need to be spayed before "officially" becoming your forever dog, but H.A.L.O. has got me covered on that, too! At the end of the day, I’m a goofy, affectionate lab mix who just wants a family that will help me channel all this energy into fun, adventures, and snuggles. If you’re looking for a best friend who will always be ready for action, I’m your girl! 🐾💛Requirements: Martingale Collar; Exit Seeker; Foster-To-Adopt (Heartworm Retest & Spay)All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

Story
I initially arrived here as a stray, but when they discovered a microchip & called the person it was registered to to he said `He keeps trying to live here` . `Well, that`s because I`m your dog`...... The people here said that I am welcome here now :). I am a super chill dude, very well-behaved, quiet, & housebroken.
