Story
Henry is a senior dog who has recently been diagnosed with cancer. Despite his diagnosis, Henry's spirit remains undiminished, and his capacity for love knows no bounds. While we wish we could provide Henry with a cure, what he truly needs now is a warm and loving hospice home where he can spend his remaining time surrounded by comfort, compassion, and care. Despite his illness, Henry still finds joy in life's simple pleasures. He loves nothing more than a leisurely stroll in the sunshine, a cozy spot to sleep, and the companionship of those who love him. We understand that opening your heart and home to a hospice dog like Henry is a profound commitment, but we also know that the love and joy he will bring into your life are immeasurable. While his time with us may be limited, the impact he will have on your heart will last a lifetime.

Story
Hi, I'm Jack! I'm an 11.5 yr old (mostly) Lab, looking to become part of a family and provide them with lots of love and companionship. My foster says I have a great personality and easy-going nature. I'm hoping to find a family that will provide a safe fenced yard for me to run around in, but I also enjoy long walks and do well on a leash. My foster will tell you how quiet I am, and while I don't like vacuum cleaners or the sound of lawn mowers, I'm not scared during thunderstorms or 4th of July fireworks. I do have to see my 'dog'tor a lot, but I am a really good patient! She calls me a lemon, but I just don’t see the resemblance to the yellow fruit. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to a lot of stuff, so I have to get allergy meds and shots, and I eat a special dog food. No matter how cute I make myself look, I do not get any treats, because my foster and 'dog'tor say they will make me itchy. I'm a really good boy for getting my paws wiped when I come inside, because the grass can make my feet itchy when my allergies are bad. Sometimes my ears get really uncomfortable and I have to get them checked, cleaned and medicated. I have had some painful infections in the past, so my ears can be sensitive. I'm housebroken and good about signaling when I need to go outside, but it would be great to have my own doggie door so I can go outside on my own. I’m embarrassed to say that I do have accidents on occasion; my old bladder can’t always hold it until I can get outside, so hard floors and puppy pads are my friends. I know and follow a few commands and I get along fine with kids, cats and kittens, but I'm not much for getting along with other dogs. Most important, I'm calm and loving and I very much like to snuggle! Even though I need a bit of extra help, I have more than enough love to give to make upfor it. My foster or 'dog'tor can tell you more about what I need to support me in my golden years. I'm one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. I look forward to meeting you and showing you how much love and companionship I have to offer! Story
Hi! I'm Bruno! I'm a high-energy guy and will need a fenced yard, so I can have lots of opportunities to run, play and use up some of that energy. Long walks are great too, and I'm working on learning to walk on a leash. I’m at the perfect age for training and am an eager learner! I'm house trained, but you should know that if I'm left outside by myself, I'll bark. Also, I do have some food aggression and will growl if another animal gets close to my food, but otherwise, I can get along with animals. I'd say I'm an all-around great pup! I'm ready to help keep you active, and when we're all done working out, I LOVE to snuggle! Are you looking for an active cudlebug? That's me!
