We homed Milo May 2025. My daughter was in college and a classmate needed to home him. He is very active and needs a lot of room and space. He has had puppy training. But needs obedience training. My daughter is back in college out of state and my husband and I don’t have to time with our busy schedules. Milo listens well but needs room to run and play. We are looking for a home that matches Milo’s energy.

Tyson is a handsome black Lab/Heeler mix with a heart as big as his smile. He’s in excellent health and ready to bring joy, loyalty, and lots of love to the right home. This sweet boy is happiest when he’s playing fetch (his absolute favorite!), exploring the outdoors, or going for long walks. He enjoys having a fenced yard where he can run and play—but once the fun is done, Tyson is more than happy to curl up for some quality cuddle time. Tyson’s loving, gentle nature makes him the perfect companion for someone who truly values the special bond between a dog and their human. He thrives with people who have time to give him affection, enjoy playing fetch, and want a loyal best friend by their side. What Tyson Loves: Playing fetch (he never gets tired of it!) Walks and outdoor adventures Spending time in a fenced yard Snuggling with his favorite people Whether you’re looking for a walking partner, a yard buddy, or a devoted couch companion, Tyson will be right there!

Bentley is a 90lb ball of energy. He is fully vetted, house broken, fixed, and microchipped. He knows, sit, stay, laydown, and paw. He loves to play fetch and be close to humans. He is not a picky eater and loves to snack on fruits and vegetables as well as store bought treats. He is primarily an indoor dog but does enjoy being outside as well. He is still working on leash training and will pull if he sees a squirrel or other animals. Bentley needs a home with a large yard and someone who has the time to give him a lot of attention. He does well with children and other animals.

Story
Need a snuggle buddy for cold winter nights? Willow will happily keep you nice and warm! Whatever you're doing, Willow wants to join you: she'll sleep at your feet while you work or watch TV, and she likes car rides and walks. A smart girl, Willow is crate-trained and responds easily to "kennel". She also knows sit, down, and stay. Willow is ready to learn her next command and enjoys treats, which helps with training. Willow would like a furbuddy, but would also do well in a home with work-at-home person. Willow and her buddy Aspen were surrendered together when their owner became too sick to care for them. Willow and Aspen would like to be adopted together, but they don't have to be. To meet Willow, go to waalrescue.org/adopt and fill out an application.

Story
Need a snuggle buddy? A walking or running partner? A companion for your current doggy friend? Whatever your need, Aspen is ready, willing, and able to serve! This sweet girl is housebroken (including using doggy door) and crate trained-although she would prefer to sleep at the foot of your bed! She knows basic commands-sit, down, stay (sometimes!)-and is eager to learn. A smart dog, Aspen responds easily to treat-focused training. She would love to have another furbaby sibling at her new home, especially one who likes to play tug. However she likes to stay the alpha of the household and doesn't like smaller dogs in her space. Aspen was surrendered with her buddy Willow when her owner became sick and could no longer care for them. Aspen and Willow would enjoy being adopted together, but they don't need to be. To meet Aspen, go to waalrescue.org/adopt and fill out an application.
