Urgent! This beautiful girl needs a home ASAP! We cannot keep her or her sister at all now. Please consider. Such a good girl. We found this puppy and her sister a few months ago in the road. All of her shots are up to date so far and has been dewormed several times. She also has had flea and tick repellent that lasts for three months. She is a very sweet and loving puppy. She is a very sensitive puppy and easy to train so far She loves cuddles and loves to play. She will sit for treats and is currently learning to come and stay. We have not heard them bark yet. They yip when playing but no barking. Unsure of her grown size but guessing medium to large. They are kept inside a closed barn during the night in a dog house with a light. They have a pen outside when the weather is nice. Please consider this precious puppy. She is truly special. I cannot keep her and wish I could. She is a sweetheart.

Story
What a good girl! She is an active puppy with lots of love. She needs a home that is loving and can spend time with her. I hide treats or toys and she loves finding them. Very food motivated so easier to train. Needs to be placed ASAP! We found her in the road. Keeping her was not the plan. She really needs a home of her own. The vet says she is part Lab and possibly pointer mix. Her sister and brother look just like Lab pups. She is very active and can sit for treats. She is over 5 months now according to the vet. Very healthy and happy girl. Would make a fantastic addition to any family. The best little puppy. Needs a home as soon as possible. Had all shots so far, rabies, flea and tick treatment and has been dewormed several times. She’s had her nails trimmed once. She is not a barker at all. Please consider her as the next addition to your family. I need to place her as soon as possible. Veggies Christmas please.

Chiko is back due to no fault of his own. Chiko is a gorgeous black lab. He is great with other dogs and children (even young ones). He knows basic commands, likes car rides, and swimming. He does will with grooming, too. He does great with other dogs but does need to be fed separately, as he can exhibit food aggression. He is house-trained. His DOB is 6/8/22 and weighs 66 pounds. Chiko would love to get into another home with a big yard soon! Are you interested in giving this adorable fur baby a forever home? Complete your application at www.havenoftheozarks.org/adopt and come out to meet our pets any day between 9 AM - 4 PM. No appointment needed. Feel free to email havenozarksanctuary@gmail.com with questions. All of our pets are fixed, microchipped and current on vaccinations before going home.

Story
Markus' estimated DOB is 05/15/2019 and he's a black Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier mix. He was found in Mark Twain National Forest. He was terrified and didn't understand where he was - a few different families had been rotating feeding him for days until someone decided to see if he'd hop into their truck. Markus instantly knew to load up, and the rest is history! Markus has the potential to make a really great pet for just the right home. He has some barrier-aggression tendencies in the shelter environment, but a family took a chance on him and brought him home. While he was with that family, we learned that Markus bonds very strongly with his one person and he is very protective of that person. The perks of Markus are that he's already potty trained, walks great on a leash, loves car rides, doesn't make messes and is great at keeping himself busy as long as he has a toy. He loves to be involved with what you are doing and especially loves to play ball & will even bring it back! Markus's ideal forever home would allow him to be the only dog in an adult only home, he does get along with cats. All of our pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks is open form 9am-4pm, seven days a week. For more information, please email us at havenozarksanctuary@gmail.com, or give us a call at 417-835-3647.

Story
Big Bear's DOB is 12/14/2015 and he's a tan Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Mix. Big Bear is a GORGEOUS dog, and 100 pounds of pure love. He's a Haven fan favorite pup, everyone who meets Bear loves him! He's friendly and walks very nicely on a leash. He loves chew toys and is treat-motivated. He already knows sit and shake! Bear is looking for a home without other dogs or cats, but don't worry too much about his size- He's also a fan favorite with kids but we would recommend kids 10 and older since he can be spooked easily. He's blind in one eye, but that doesn't bother him a bit, It can be a little easy to sneak up on him.Come meet Big Bear at the Haven to see if he's your new best friend! All of our pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks is open from 9am-4pm, seven days a week. Story
Max West is an animated guy who arrived with his sister, Vlad, after their lifelong owner passed away. Max is a tan colored labrador and weighs 63 pounds. Max would love to find his forever home soon. He can get along with other dogs, but a slow introduction would be important, if not just being the only dog in the home. Max also is not a fan on cats. Max loves to play with toys and is very energetic for his age. He loves attention, belly rubs, walks, eating and observing things around him. He is house trained but needs frequent potty breaks. All our pets are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks is open from 9 am to 4 pm, seven days a week. No appointment is necessary for adopters. For more information, please email havenozarksanctuary@gmail.com. To save time at the shelter, complete your adoption application at www.havenoftheozarks.org/adopt.
