Story
Maggie will turn 3 in the spring. She is a champagne Labrador. Our family has had her since she was a puppy. She grew up with our now 4 yr old and 12 year old. She has always been a good pup. Very loyal. Gentle with the kids. Fixed and had her first year of shots. House trained. Likes to go for walks but needs more training with walks. Recently she has shown some aggression and not sure why. We do have a small house with a small yard. She is a house dog but does spend time outside. Not sure if she is just not getting the attention she needs but recently we have stopped trusting her around the kids. She has growled at them and most recently she has attacked our smaller dog out of nowhere and caused damage. We absolutely hate this, we love Maggie but no longer trust her around the kids after she attacked our other dog. She would make a great companion to someone who would be gentle and patient with her. Better without any other dogs. Hoping to find her a great home.

Are you ready to dive into dog parenthood? Look no further than Ocean, the 2 year old Lab mix making waves at our shelter! Ocean is lively and fun, and she`s looking for her forever tide. She has such a sweet and loving personality. She`s also a very active girl, so she`d love a space like a fenced in backyard where she can play to her heart`s content. Give her a ball or toy, and she`s a happy girl! With her activity level, we recommend older children for her (ages 12+), and we`ve learned she`s not a huge fan of cats. Ocean is dog-friendly and would love the chance to meet any dogs you already own before she officially joins your family. As a 2 year old Lab mix, she`s got her whole life ahead of her! Ocean is ready for her forever anchor. If you`re ready to take the plunge, visit the shelter during our adoption hours of 12-6pm Monday-Saturday and 12-5pm Sunday to see if she`s the catch you`ve been looking for!

I’m potty trained and will let you know when I need to go. Originally a Florida girl but now I’m a show me girl. I love family and get along with other pets. I’m a little skittish but when I get comfortable watch out I’m spunky. I love swimming in the rivers and lakes. All around I’m good dog looking for a good home.
