Story
This is Stevie, named after Stevie Nicks. Like her name sake, she is super chill. She is great with kids, cats, and other dogs. I have never seen her bite anyone and she rarely (if ever) barks. She would rather snuggle next to you on the floor, follow you to your bedroom so she can be near you, or ask you to gently pet her. She has been with my ex for almost a year, and he is unable to continue care for her. As a favor to my son I took her, but I am only allowed two pets (which I already had cats). Otherwise I would happily be her forever home. She has picked up some bad habits about not using the bathroom outside, but she used to be really good about that. She is 13 yo, but she will still climb stairs just to be near you at night. She is in desperate need of Tender Loving Care. She deserves to have a kind and loving family who can take her in and support her in her golden years. You’ll never find a more gentle or loving dog.

Meet Waylon! This sweet boy is full of energy, incredibly friendly, and loves being around people. He gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids, so he could be a great fit for many different types of homes. Waylon is an active guy who needs a dedicated family willing to keep him busy with walks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of activities to help him burn off his energy. Once he’s ready to relax, he turns into a HUGE cuddle bug and loves snuggling with his people! Waylon is also doing fantastic with his muzzle training and will need an adopter who is willing to continue his progress. One important thing to know is that he may be a foreign-body risk after previously coming to me with an antler stuck in his intestines. Thankfully, I have had no issues with him while fostering, but his future family will need to be mindful of what he has access to. Waylon is a fun, social, affectionate boy who is ready to find someone who can keep up with his energy and give him all the love!!

This was a family members pet. She was well cared for and crate trained. Unforeseen circumstances mean they cannot keep her any longer. Lady is a beautiful purebred 6 yr old dog. She does very well with other pets including cats, she’s extremely adaptable to different situations. She’s very gentle and accommodating with other pets and animals. She is not aggressive or agitated by noises or men. She has been trained to potty and feed on a strict schedule. She does well with new activities and people that are in and out of our home. We really hope to find a home that has time and energy to enjoy her. She would make an amazing family pet, or companion of an individual. I cannot say enough good things about this dog. Possible difficulties that she’s shown; she has not been trained to lead walk, and loves to run in open areas with no response to recall.

She recently showed what a great adventure buddy she can be on a 2 mile hike. While she was initially a little unsure in a busy area with lots of activity, she quickly gained confidence when given the chance to explore at her own pace. Once she settled in, she enjoyed taking in the sights and smells of the trail and handled the outing well. Back at home, Priscilla was friendly and waggy with everyone she met. She enjoys playing fetch with a squeaky ball, carrying around soft toys, and relaxing after a day of fun. She also showed good house manners, had no accidents, and happily settled into an open crate to enjoy a chew. Like many young dogs, Priscilla is still learning her manners and would benefit from an adopter committed to continuing her training and helping her become the best version of herself. With her affectionate personality, playful spirit, and eagerness to be with her people, Priscilla is sure to make a wonderful companion.
