Story
Lucy, who will be three years old in May, 2024, is a happy, active, enthusiastic dog. She is slender and athletic, and full of energy, which is the main reason we need to find a new home for her. My husband and I are older and just cannot provide the activity, exercise and stimulation she craves. She loves people and is very loyal. She will adjust well to a new family, likes children and other animals. Although not a purebred Labrador, she looks every bit the part of a 55 pound Black Lab. Ironically, she does not have the "fetch" instinct that most retrievers have, but loves to play outdoors. We will be happy to share Lucy's meds and food, and some bedding, with a new family who can love her.

Story
We adopted Ozzy as a 3 month old puppy from ARFFMO in May 2019. He was one of a large litter of puppies rescued from a poor living situation. He was born January 27th 2019. One of his brothers had a dna test which showed bulldog/boxer/dalmation. Ozzy looks more like a long haired Labrador He is a big couch potato, a huge snuggler, he has been great with our son,he is a great family dog, but he needs to be the only dog in a household. When ozzy was about 1.5 years old he was attacked by another dog and since then he has been very dog reactive. We have taken ozzy through several behavioral trainings to help manage this and it has been helpful. However, if our current dog makes a high pitched growl ozzy can be very reactive and although rare, a fight can break out between them. We have come to the decision to rehome Ozzy. The perfect family would be one with a fenced in back yard and one without other dogs. Ozzy is up to date on shots and could be perfect for the right family.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Mooney is as sweet as a cinnamon twist! She can be a bit shy in new situations, but her motto is "sometimes I may fall apart, like a taco, but everyone still loves those!" She's looking to be wrapped up like a burrito and snuggled up with a family that loves her! She's ready to gain some confidence and have a baja blast with you! Her foster says "Mooney is a very sweet and loving girl who takes a little bit of time to come out of her shell. While she gets accustomed to a new environment, she has enjoyed having other dogs around to show her the ropes. She seems to get along well with both playful and more reserved dog friends. Mooney would love to spend her days getting pets and snuggling up with a new human (and maybe dog) best friend." --- Volunteers say "After Mooney realized I was safe, she was excited to get outside but not to leave the shelter. She wouldn't move unless I down on my knees and called for her. So we just played in the pins. She does get very distracted easily as well. She loves sticks apparently much more than any balls or other toys. She is very sweet just needs a lot of work and love."

Story
Wilco is a loving dog that loves attention. We got him as a puppy from a friend. He is 3 years old, loves to run, fetch, and play with dog toys. He loves being outside. As we are unable to walk him easily, he exercises outside on an overhead trolley system. He needs work on leash and additional socialization would be helpful. He is smart and loves to be challenged. He needs a firm but loving owner to teach him new boundaries for his new home. He is a working dog so would be trainable on a farm Commands he knows are sit, stay, lay down, stand, and free. He sleeps at night in a kennel but would prefer being with family. My husband has health issues requiring us to rehome Wilco. We are praying for him and regretfully releasing him.
