Story
Dallas is an 8-year-old, 78-pound sweetheart whose world was completely turned upside down. After spending his entire life in a home, he was surrendered to a crowded shelter, not because of anything he did, but simply because his owner no longer wanted to care for him. With shelters overwhelmed, Dallas was placed on the euthanasia list, a fate that far too many good dogs face, and one that truly breaks our hearts. Despite everything he’s been through, Dallas remains calm, affectionate, and incredibly gentle. He gets along well with other dogs and adores people. His current caregiver describes him as an absolute joy. He is low maintenance, easygoing, and full of quiet love. Dallas is a sweet, laid-back senior boy who deserves a safe spot to land and a family that will never give up on him again. **We are unable to respond to inquiries on Adopt-A-Pet. If you are interested in adopting Dallas, please fill out the adoption application at phpdr.org/adopt and email it to dogs@peoplehelpingpaws.org

Story
Tinsel's Story Tinsel is a gentle, loving pup who quickly wins hearts. He is 4.5 months old and 23 pounds. He is confident being picked up and held, and he offers lovely, intentional eye contact with his people. Tinsel does very well with the other foster dogs in his home. He is very curious about cats, so slow introductions or a dog-savvy cat would be best. Tinsel is making great progress with house training when taken out regularly and keeps his kennel dry throughout the night. Tinsel is still working on his crate training, but make great strides in settling down. He is food motivated, enjoys treats, and loves playing with toys. Tinsel will make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a sweet, playful pup who is eager to bond. Story
Lexie has one obsession..... TOYS! Lexi loves her stuffies and will pull them all out of the toy box and play with them, one by one. She carries them around the house and takes one on walks. Lexie loves car rides, ice cream also loves to play dress up and took a few glamour shots so you could see her cute tuxedo coat. Lexie is solid muscle and knows commands such as sit, down and shake, she is really just the sweetest. Lexie has not been around children but we believe with proper introduction and supervision, she would be fine with them. Unfortunately, due to Lexie's past, she is reactive to certain dogs so she has been unable to find the perfect home and has been living at our training facility for years. An only pet home for Lexi is a must but she makes up for it with her loving personality. *All of our adult dogs are current on vaccinations, de-wormed, heart worm tested, spayed/neutered, on monthly preventatives & micro chipped prior to adoption. *Lexi's Adoption Fee is Sponsored! *No out of State Adoptions , *Virtual Home Visits Required *We do not require fenced yards for all dogs, fenced yards are required based on a dogs needs. *No invisible fences. If you would like to meet this dog, please fill out an adoption application at www.unchainedmelodies.org/adopt/

Story
Meet Rosie Rosie is a 5 month old Lab mix full of love, energy, and goofy puppy charm. She’s a happy girl who adores her people and loves nothing more than getting attention and cuddles. Rosie enjoys her walks and is learning quickly about leash manners and recall. She gets excited to meet new people and other animals, and she’s done great playing with dogs and even meeting cats during an overnight stay! Crate training is still a work in progress, she can be a little whiny but is non destructive and settling in with consistency. She’s also starting to understand the idea of keeping her kennel clean, though she’s still a young pup and needs regular potty breaks. Rosie loves toys, playtime, and being part of the action. If you’re looking for a sweet, social, and snuggly companion to grow with, Rosie would love to be your new best friend!
