Douglas Animal Welfare Group has officially approved and covered the cost of his surgery, and he is scheduled for Monday, December 1st. 💔 Here’s the urgent part: The shelter is not an ideal place for him to recover from such a major surgery. Lark needs a quiet, loving home where he can heal safely and comfortably. Despite everything he’s been through, Lark is the biggest lovebug — playful, affectionate, and happiest when he’s with his people. He came to us as a stray, so we don’t know much about his past, but we do know his future will be amazing with the right family. 🏡 Lark is looking for a forever home. Kai has blossomed into a calm and affectionate companion who loves cuddles, quiet walks, and napping in cozy spots. He's 9 months, 37 lbs, neutered, vaxed and chipped. RESCUE STORY: He was rescued along with his siblings from a difficult situation in Cancun where they were living in a lot with no shelter or care. Our adoption fee helps to cover our expenses. We are a small operation doing what we can in Mexico. Please help us by adopting one of our incredible dogs. We invest time and love into these incredible animals. We feel that every life matters. Our dogs are mostly house trained but since they live mainly outside, plan on working on that. As his foster, I have worked with him extensively for the past two months.
