Dallas PLEASE READ IN ITS ENTIRETY. Our adoption fees vary, according to species, size, age and other issues. Discounts apply in some cases. Our dogs have been dewormed, heartworm tested (if over 6 months), started on heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, vaccinated for bordetella, dhppv, rabies (if age appropriate) and microchipped. If old enough they are spayed or neutered, otherwise it will be noted and under a foster to adopt contract until completed and an additional deposit of $100 will be required- deposit will be refunded upon request and proof of surgery. A transportation fee of $300 is required and covers health certificate to travel as well as transportation. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Meet Dallas: Your Next Adventure Buddy!** Dallas is a fun-loving, outgoing guy who's always up for an adventure. He adores both people and other dogs, making friends wherever he goes. While he's still mastering leash manners, he's making amazing progress every day. Dallas is fully potty trained and knows how to use a doggy door. He's already mastered "sit" and taking treats gently, and he's currently working on giving paw. Riding in the car is one of Dallas's favorite activities, especially when he can look out the windows. His foster family adores him and can't say enough about his sweet nature. Dallas has a special love for water, so if you're looking for a beach or hiking buddy, he's your guy. Dallas is a perfect mix of active and laid-back. He loves to play and burn off energy but is just as happy to relax once he's had his fun. He would thrive in a home with a yard and other dogs or with an active family ready to include him in their adventures. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, Dallas is the one for you! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Texas- My rescue will make all arrangements for me to travel to you as soon as I am adopted. Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. We provide adopters current information on our dogs; we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners. Please be advised that our dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported. Unfortunately, it is not possible to meet the dogs in person prior to adoption. We will Facetime, Zoom and you may speak with the dog foster family. We only send well behaved, well rounded dogs, sending anything other fails the dogs. We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable. Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application found at https://www.rangersreach.org/ We are 100% volunteer ran and you have no clue how bad it is down here; we try as hard as we can to get through applications as fast as possible. If we spend all our time answering inquires and emails, we have no time to look over applications. Please do not apply until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision, or adoption is made we must move on to the next application. Applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will receive that dog

Story
Greggy and Gracie are 5-month-old (Born approximately January 15, 2024) black lab mixes that weigh approximately 30 lbs each. These pups LOVE to smile. They are so carefree and happy pups; they don’t know that nobody wants them yet. They are the happiest, most friendliest puppies you will meet. These 2 pups LOVE life and everyone they meet, kids and adults, men and women. Greggy and Gracie are the definition of perfection. They are smart, they’re eager to learn, super playful, beyond loving, gentle, snuggly, entertaining and ready to be in their forever homes. Somebody messaged us regarding these 2 pups that were found wandering around their house in a rural part of south Texas. They think somebody dumped them. Black dogs are not easy to adopt out, but we hope you will see past their color, and see their beautiful personalities. These pups are very smart. Within a short time, they have learned a few commands and with time, will definitely be able to master and learn more. They are super eager to learn. They aim to please and one of their only goals in life is to please their humans. Gracie and Greggy would do wonderful with all ages of children, as they have your typical gentle demeanor of a lab. They love other dogs and would do great in a home with other dogs or in a home alone. They have been introduced to cats and they don’t show any interest in them. They are still working on house training, but with proper stimulation, training and exercise, will have no issues mastering it. Adoption fee includes: Spay or neuter, current negative heart worm test, current parvo/distemper vaccines, bordatella (kennel cough), rabies vaccination, flea/tick and heart worm prevention, dewormer, microchip, health certificate from a veterinarian, and transport costs from Texas to the East coast.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Taylor—she’s as unforgettable as the superstar she’s named after! This quirky, beautiful girl is a one-of-a-kind mix of mystery and magic. With her short, stout frame, shiny black coat with white markings, and those adorable ears that point sideways when she’s at attention, Taylor is a conversation starter and a heart-stealer. Taylor lives to love and be loved. She’s the ultimate people dog—affectionate, playful, and endlessly loyal. She adores kids and would make an incredible family dog. Taylor gets along with every living creature she meets, from dogs to cats and everyone in between. Her playful, sweet nature makes her the kind of dog who instantly brings joy to those around her. Though her exact breed mix is a mystery, we think Taylor might have a little bit of everything—Beagle, Lab, Corgi, Chihuahua, or maybe even something else entirely. Whatever the mix, it’s created one of the most wonderful dogs you’ll ever meet. Black Dog Syndrome may make her harder to notice, but trust us—Taylor is anything but ordinary. She’s a shining star waiting for her chance to light up your life. Are you ready to meet this quirky, loving, and oh-so-special girl? Apply today and let Taylor be your new best friend! Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. We try to post videos for each pet so you can really get to know them. Story
Meet Jacob! A playful one-year old, 40 lb, lab-type mix. He loves to play and has been great with other dogs. He is shy initially with people, but another dog helps his confidence immensely! He has been submissive but persistent to get his foster siblings to play! He sleeps all night quietly in his crate and seems perfectly house trained. He can be left alone without issue. We are working on leash manners and confidence in public. Www.mountainrottierescue.net

Story
River is a sweet 7 year old lab. She does have some quirks that could probably be resolved with training, like barking at noises and jumping on guests but overall she’s wonderful. She is overdue to see a vet, I simply cannot afford it. She has a few lick granulomas. She is crate trained. Good with other animals and children. She would make an AMAZING companion to an older owner as she doesn’t love exercise, she is pretty laid back and lazy. She loves attention and belly rubs!

Story
I was one of a litter of 10 puppies born to a stray momma that was being cared for by a kind person. Our momma went wandering (probably looking for food) and was picked up by an animal rescuer. After posting on Facebook, the rescuer found out about our litter and took them in also. Now we're looking for forever homes! This dog is currently located in Wharton County, Texas, but can be transported to New York via a licensed, reputable transport company. The transport fee is included in the adoption fee
