Clementine's basic bio is below, but we maintain more detailed information about each of our animals on our website, which is also always up to date with animals removed immediately once they are adopted. Please visit Clementine's page on our site (https://www.muddypawsrescue.org/adoptable?dog=008856) to learn even more about Clementine! Additionally, please note that the breed listed for Clementine is just our best guess based on the dog's physical features. We cannot make any guarantees about the accuracy of our guesses. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO VOLUME, WE ARE GENERALLY UNABLE TO RESPOND TO INQUIRIES MADE USING THE 'ASK ABOUT ME' BUTTON. Please reach out to us directly using the contact information on our website: www.muddypawsrescue.org. Hello future family. Here is a little about me. I am a very calm and friendly girl. I make friends with anyone who wants to say hello to me. I love belly rubs and below the ear scratches, oh man those just put me in a great mood. I only do my business outside. I've gone places by car and tend to just nap during the car rides. I prefer plushy toys rather than balls. While I may be a bit on the bigger side, my foster mom say I walk amazing on leash. I walk by her side and only get distracted by interesting smells but I quickly move on after a quick sniff. I have been around children and birds and I am very neutral around them. I usually sleep where the wind takes me, meaning one second I'm asleep on the kitchen floor, than next second I might be asleep in the living room or hallway. My foster mom always tells me I act like I am carrying the world on my shoulders due to the constant sighing but maybe I am because I make everyone's day brighter.

Story
There is something especially heartbreaking about a puppy being abandoned. At four months old, Opal should have been discovering the world with her family, learning where she belonged and falling asleep knowing she was safe. Instead, someone left her alone at a city park in a small Tennessee town, apparently hoping that someone passing by would find her and do something.Thankfully, someone did. A police officer found this beautiful little girl and made sure she was safe. The local shelter was notified, and when they needed help, Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped forward to bring Opal into foster care. What they discovered was a puppy who had somehow managed to keep her joy, her trust and her enormous capacity to love despite such a rough beginning.Opal is about 25 pounds right now and is expected to grow into a gorgeous 55-pound Lab girl. Her beautiful black coat shines like an opal, but it is her personality that truly makes her special. She is wonderfully social with other dogs, absolutely wonderful with children and loves people. She is the kind of puppy who wants to be involved in whatever you're doing, especially if it involves playing fetch, laughing and having fun together. She is nearly housebroken, crate trained and eager to learn. What makes Opal so remarkable is that she hasn't allowed being abandoned to change the way she feels about people. She still runs toward them with excitement. She still wants to play. She still believes the world is a good place and that there is someone out there who is going to love her and keep her.And there should be.Opal didn't deserve to be left behind, but that doesn't have to be the story she carries with her. Her story can be about the family who found her, chose her and showed her what it means to belong. We have a feeling she is going to grow into the kind of dog people talk about for years—the one everyone remembers, the one who was always happy to see you, the one who somehow made every day better. The one you eventually call the best dog you've ever had.Opal is ready to go now. She is spayed, fully vetted and microchipped. If this special girl has found her way into your heart, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. She is waiting for the person who will look at her and say, 'You're coming home with me.'     PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comAugust 25, 2026, 3:25 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Scoobert – Your Goofy, Lovable Adventure Buddy! Hi there, I’m Scoobert—and yep, I really do live up to my name! My foster mom says I’m just as goofy, sweet, and snack-obsessed as the real Scooby-Doo, and honestly… I think that’s a pretty great reputation to have. Especially because I lovetreats—I'll sit, stay, and happily head right into my crate for one of those tasty “Scooby Snacks!” I’m always ready for an adventure—whether it’s a walk around the block, playing with a new squeaky toy, or exploring the backyard. One of my favorite games is hide-and-seek… and let me tell you, I’m really good at it—I always win! After I’ve had my fun, I’m all about the naps. I’m crate trained and hang out there while my foster mom is at work. I get along great with other dogs, especially if they’re ready to play, because I am all about playtime! I even met a cat once and did great. I’m still a young guy, so if you’re looking for a pup with that fun, playful puppy energy, I’m your guy! But the one thing I’m still missing? A forever home of my own. I’m dreaming of a family who will love me as much as I’ll love them. If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, cuddly companion who’s always up for an adventure and a snuggle, I just might be your perfect match. Apply to meet me today at BuffaloCares.org—let’s go find our next great mystery together! Story
Meet Orie —Ready for a Fresh Start.Orie is a young Labrador/mix who’s already shown just how resilient and loving he can be. After being removed from a home with 21 dogs, he could have been unsure of the world; but instead, Orie greets it with trust and a gentle heart. He truly enjoys human company and is happiest when he’s near his people. He loves to go for walks. Once he’s out, he loves to sniff, explore, and take in everything around him at his own relaxed pace. Orie would do best in a home where someone is home most of the time. He does have some anxieties about being alone.  We will provide his indestructible crate so that he can be safely crated and not escape it. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t demand the spotlight; but once you notice him, you realize he’s exactly the companion you’ve been looking for.  If you’re ready to give a sweet, adaptable pup the loving home he deserves, Orie is ready to meet you.Any questions?
