Story
Hi everyone, my name is Polo! I'm searching for my forever home, as a 1 year old Lab mix, weighing in at just under 40 pounds! I'm an extremely fun little guy, who loves any toys I can get my paws on! I'm a big fan of crunchy toys and balls that make noise or squeak. I love frolicking in the snow, especially if I can chase my foster siblings! I'm a big fan of booty scratches and giving lots of enthusiastic affection! I'm working hard on crate training and potty training - I do a fantastic job at going potty as soon as I'm outside! I take treats gently, even though I might tap my paws eagerly for a snack. Polo is recently neutered. He lives with and gets along well with canine foster siblings, but wants to give them unconditional love! If you think this sweet boy would fit with your family, please submit an application at www.buffalounderdogs.com/adopt ##2314211##

Story
Sam is a magnificent gentle giant looking for his forever home! At 95 pounds, this 3-year-old Labrador/Mastiff mix (possibly a "Mastador") has a presence that matches his enormous heart. During his time in foster care while receiving heartworm treatment, Sam has proven himself to be exceptionally kind and gentle. Despite his impressive size, he carries himself with a sweet temperament that endears him to everyone. ♥ Sam has gotten along wonderfully with all dogs in his Louisiana foster home, though we haven't tested him with cats yet. Now neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm treatment complete, and on all preventatives, Sam is ready to find his forever family. If you've always had a special place in your heart for big dogs, Sam could be the perfect addition to your home! His size is matched only by his capacity for both love- and companionship. Ready to consider adoption? Complete an adoption application at [NYSRR.COM](http://NYSRR.COM) today! (Though Sam is currently in Lousiana, transportation North is included in his adoption donation.)

Story
Meet Oregon! Oregon is a 8 week old Male Lab mix. This animal is coming up on a transport to the NYC Area on Saturday, May 3rd and is looking for a foster home to go into. There are multiple shelters down south that are overcrowded and Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue partners with these shelters to move the animals into foster homes in the North East before they are adopted into their forever family homes. What does it mean to be a foster? The first, and most important, responsibility is to provide a caring and safe home environment. There are some very specific guidelines that we will share with you that will keep everyone safe and healthy. From basic food and water, quarantine periods, and where you can or cannot take your foster, our Foster Handbook and Foster Mentors are fantastic resources. Depending on what type of animal you’re fostering, you’ll need some things in advance. These items may include a crate, puppy pads, or food and water bowls but we have a large foster network that helps share supplies! Louie’s Legacy will pay for full vetting, spay or neuter surgery, and all approved medical or behavioral treatments. By fostering a dog or cat…YOU are MAKING a DIFFERENCE! Every pet deserves saving! Let’s not leave any behind! Apply to foster today! https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/LOUE/Dog *Please note that the pet you are interested in may not be available by the time we receive your application. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible and to be open to helping other animals in need.
