Story
Marley is a 4.5-month-old Lab/Shep mix weighing about 16 pounds, with a story that starts rough and ends happy! He was found at just 8 weeks old by U.S. Marines while they were on duty in Puerto Rico—starving, but incredibly sweet despite everything he’d been through. They called us looking for help for him and he spent the next two months being spoiled with good food, care, and love! Marley has blossomed into a joyful, friendly, and outgoing puppy. He loves people, and playing with his friends and he greets the world with a wagging tail! He has the kind of resilient, sunny personality that makes him a joy to be around. Marley is ready for a safe, loving home where he can keep growing into the great dog he’s clearly meant to be. Marley will arrive in Albion, NY in mid January and we would love to have a family waiting for him! * Please note: All dogs are rescues so we often do not know the actual breeds but use an educated guess to tell you what they most look like. Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico. For more information on adopting please email madrescueofwny@aol.com and fill out our online application at https://form.jotform.us/70927213338153

Story
Honey recently arrived from PMAR’s Alabama rescue partner and is already showing what a sweet, social girl she is. True to her name, Honey is affectionate, outgoing, and loves being around people. She is spayed, fully vetted, and currently settling into her foster home, where she is doing well on leash and enjoying learning her new routines. Honey has been friendly with everyone she’s met so far and approaches new experiences with curiosity and enthusiasm. As with any dog adjusting to a new environment, Honey will need continued training, structure, and support to help her reach her full potential. With consistency and guidance, she is expected to thrive. Honey is ready for her next chapter and is looking for a foster or forever home committed to helping her continue growing into the wonderful companion she’s meant to be. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Story
Our boy Chunky Monkey puppy is called Ralston, a hearty puppy born around Oct. 24th to a yellow Lab mix momma and a Red Heeler dad.  They seemed to be a couple and were strays that came up to a home in the countryside of Tennessee. Mom was obviously pregnant and the kind people who lived in the home they came up to, made a safe place for the puppies to be born and cared for safely.  They were some very lucky pups.  Six gorgeous Chunky Monkey puppies  were born and Ralston is not one of the largest ones in the litter, but he will be a big 65-70 pound dog all the same.  He is ready for a new home now!!!    Ralston is wonderful with children and very easy going with a laidback personality and not a hyper puppy.  This boy is a true cuddler.  Recently he attended a YMCA Puppy Yoga class and he was a hit.  He went around the room of 40 women  and young teens and crawled in laps and  cuddled with almost each and every one.  He is already clearly heavy and weighs 17 pounds at 12 weeks!!!!   Ralston will be wonderful with other dogs, cats, people of all ages.  He is quiet, mannerly and respectful of your personal space.   He is being crate trained and shown a schedule for potty breaks.  Learning and will have it conquered soon with 100% housebroken.  Age and maturity helps so much for housebreaking.  Ralston is precious...handsome and a boy destined to be easy to train and even easier to love.  Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested.  He can transport from Nashville, TN on Jan. 16th to join a family for his lifetime.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 12, 2026, 9:57 am
