Story
Ali is a sweet 2 year old dog. He loves people and to be snuggled. We have had him since he was a puppy. My daughter adopted him from a shelter. He currently lives with one other dog in our family. Ali has had some resource guarding in regards to food and toys. He has gotten in a couple of fights with our other dog and we feel he would do best in a single pet home. He is neutered, house broken, and he has had some professional training. He is a sweet loving dog that is looking for a great environment to thrive in!

Story
Cruz was found on the side of the road in August 2023. He stayed at the Pender County Animal shelter for a week before I adopted him. The vet says he’s estimated to be about 2 years old now. He's great with dogs, cats and children. Cruz has tons of energy and would love a back yard but is used to the apartment life. He knows basic commands and is potty trained. I have DNA test results for him and he’s mixed with 18 different breeds! The main breeds being Labrador Retriever, Bloodhound and American Pitbull Terrier. Cruz is the sweetest dog and has never shown aggression.

Cowboy is 3 years old and is a pure bred English lab. His dad is an AKC champion duck dog. Cowboy went through over $2k of training and knows the following commands -crate = goes in crate -sit -stay -down -island = goes to his bed *he rings a bell when he has to go to the bathroom Cowboy has a cat in the house he grew up with and chickens in the yard and a baby in the house. He is a great dog! We have a small home and a new baby and just can’t give him the love and attention he deserves He loves fetching, going to the beach, hanging out and playing with kids!

Story
Meet Manny! He is such a dopey and laid back guy. He loves being active and would be great for anyone who goes on runs or hikes, or spends time outdoor in general. However, he also is laid back and is comfortable just relaxing at home. He is such a love bug and loves attention and cuddles. He is crate trained but would prefer to sleep in bed with you and be left out at home to lay around, he wont go potty in the house or destroy anything. I don’t know how he is around kids but he has such a sweet and calm disposition that I feel he would be a great life long pet for a kid to grow up with. Any family that chooses to adopt him and make him apart of their family is going to be really lucky

Story
Russel is a very sweet boy that needs a lot of love, patience, and understanding. Russel is high energy and thrives with lots of exercise. He definitely needs a secure area because he is a digger and fast as lightning. He is very anxious and cowers when you raise your voice or hand. He obviously was in a abusive home at one time. He is friendly to dogs and people. Russell is very loving and enjoys a belly rubs and long walks. He is crate trained but is still nervous when you leave him, therefore he will need some additional reinforcement to build his trust. Russel will be your best bud if you just open your heart up to him If interested, please call at 973-647-2213 or email maryannm864@aol.com.
