Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Waylon, a charming and unique pup in search of his forever home. Waylon has a heart that yearns for the great outdoors, making him an ideal candidate for a farm setting where he can thrive. He's happiest when he's soaking up the sun and feeling the breeze in his fur. Waylon's independent spirit shines through as he shows a preference for the open air and a life spent outdoors. He's not one for car rides, but who needs them when you have acres to explore? Waylon has shown remarkable compatibility with both feline and canine companions, proving that he's a team player ready to embrace a new pack. This 82-pound, 5-year-old sweetheart is a true gem. He's proven himself to be a gentle giant who adores the company of kids and adults alike. Waylon's loving nature knows no bounds, and his eyes light up with hope as he dreams of a forever family to call his own. He comes equipped with all the essentials for a healthy start in his new home. Waylon has been microchipped and received thorough health checks, including a 4DX test, DHLPP vaccinations, and rabies vaccination. It's worth noting that he has tested positive for Lyme disease, but he's already undergone treatment with 30 days of Doxycycline, showing his resilience and eagerness to overcome any obstacle. Waylon's journey has led him from the county pound to Crossed Paws, and now he's ready to take the next step – finding his forever family. His adoption fee has been sponsored.  If you're ready to open your heart and home to a devoted companion who dreams of wide-open spaces and endless love, consider welcoming Waylon into your life. Together, you can create a bond that will last a lifetime. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Nova! Nova arrived at our shelter on 4/4/24, and she's currently in the process of adjusting to her new surroundings. This sweet girl is beginning to settle in and is revealing her calm and gentle nature to us. Nova absolutely adores attention and isn't shy about asking for it – she'll let out a little whine to capture your heart! On 4/9/24, Nova embarked on her very first walk with us, and to our amazement, she walked on a leash like a true professional! Her leash manners are on point, making outdoor adventures with her a breeze. During her initial health assessment on 4/8/24, Nova received her rabies vaccination & underwent 4DX testing and unfortunately, she tested positive for Lyme disease. However, there's no need to worry – Nova is currently on a 30-day course of Doxycycline to combat the infection. Once she completes her treatment, she'll be ready to receive her DHLPP and Bordetella vaccinations to ensure she's in the best of health.  She weighs approximately 67 pounds. As Nova continues to settle in and we learn more about her personality and preferences, we'll be sure to update her profile. Keep checking back for more information on this lovely girl! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Chico! Chico was recently surrendered to our shelter. While his previous owner claimed he is part Pug and part Chihuahua, our vet believes he may actually be a mix of Lab and Beagle, or possibly Lab and Husky, or even Husky and Beagle. Whatever his genetic makeup, Chico is a wonderful dog who is sure to win your heart! Chico is playful but not overly energetic, making him a perfect companion for both active playtimes and relaxed evenings. He has a gentle and caring nature, and is incredibly affectionate. Since arriving at the shelter, Chico has been a bit confused and has shown a somewhat submissive personality. However, he is slowly becoming more comfortable and open, revealing his true, charming self. He is up to date on all vaccines and ready to find his forever home. Chico is desperate to leave the shelter and find a loving family. Could you be the one to give him the home he deserves? Come meet Chico and see for yourself what a special dog he is!
