Story
Meet Atlas! 🐾
Atlas is a handsome 6.5-month-old Lab mix weighing in at 43 pounds of pure puppy love! This sweet boy has a gentle, affectionate personality and absolutely adores his people. Whether he’s following you around the house, soaking up attention, or curling up in your lap after a fun-filled day, Atlas just wants to be part of the family.
Like any young pup, Atlas loves to play! He enjoys tossing around his toys, chewing on his favorite bones, and going for walks to explore the world around him. He’s still figuring out the whole “fetch” thing, but he’s eager to learn and catches on quickly. Atlas is smart, food-motivated, and already picking up basic commands like a champ. While peanut butter isn’t really his thing, offer him some cheese or a crunchy ice cube and you’ll have a best friend for life!
Atlas is currently working on leash manners and potty training and is making great progress every day. He seems interested in making friends with other dogs, cats, and children when introduced properly, so he could do well in many different types of homes.
This lovable pup is looking for a family that will continue helping him grow into the amazing dog he’s destined to be. In return, Atlas promises endless love, goofy puppy antics, and lots of cuddles.
Atlas is being fostered in Cincinnati, Ohio. His adoption fee is $300.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
