Sue here. Are you looking for a easy going girl who loves attention? I am a 9 yo lab mix. I am a svelte black with a touch of white on my nose. I enjoy tug and fetch. I would enjoy a buddy to play with. I am close to 55 pounds of adoration. I can’t pass up a good chew toy. A girl has to have her likes! She is kennel trained and potty trained. Dudley is a favorite of pretty much anyone he meets. He is loving, cuddly, sweet, charming. He enjoys couch time, walk time, treat time. He is crate trained and potty trained, but would rather sleep with his people. In short, people perfect. But...He can be an ass. Dudley may be short and stocky, but he can/will clear a 4ft fence. 6ft a must. Dudley is good with low energy female dogs, but few males. Dudley has a decent prey drive, so no cats or squirrels or bunnies if they are slow. Dudley is available for foster or adoption through Legacy of Hope

Story
Hazel, formerly known as Chestnut. Hazel was adopted from us back in 2021 and recently returned, due to adopter relocating. Hazel would make the perfect companion for someone! She is very high energy and loves to play and run but will cuddle up with you whenever you give her the chance! She lovesss toys and blankets! She would be the happiest being an only child, she’s ok with other animals as long as they are not aggressive, she’s bad about holding grudges when another dog growls or tries to out dominate her but gentle submissive dogs she does great with! She’s been in a pen in the horses pen and would bark at them but i’ve never seen her go after them. She needs someone who can give her all their love and attention! She also needs someone who can do some training with her and stay consistent with it. She also adores kids but dosent realize how big she is and likes to lick them in the face. Hazel is 3 years old, spayed, up to date on shots, on preventatives and microchipped. Her fee is $175. *Hazel is in boarding and would love a place to crash while she awaits her forever family. If you’d like to foster her, send us a message!

Story
Yellow lab fans, gather around!💛🥤 The name's Starry, and I sure do shine like a star! Especially with my bright, beautiful fur and stunning baby blue eyes. I am estimated to be a 2 to 3 year old Labrador Retriever/Catahoula mix. You may see my beautiful soda named children around. Yep, I made those cuties! But it's about time for momma to get some attention, don't you think? I am an extremely sweet and gentle girl. I am pretty low-key girl with the the kindest soul. I very much enjoy people, kisses, and cuddles. I love to follow my people around to help them with their daily tasks, and offer loving support whenever they need it. I love adventures and exploring the outdoors, too. I do partake in some playtime, but i'm definitely not hyper. I'm just a low key, sweet, adorable girl. I am great with dogs and cats, but I think birds are tasty, so my foster people say i'm not allowed to live with them. They're no fun. I am crate, potty, and leash trained. I am vaccinated, spayed, and micro-chipped upon adoption. I was actually rescued from the shelter with my babies when they were just a week old. But now i'm thriving and I think I deserve the best forever home imaginable

Story
Are you looking for a running or hiking buddy? Or a fun loving friend to play with your dog?  Or your next obedience partner?  Meet 1 year old lab shepherd mix Roo. Roo had a very rough start in life. He was found by a good Samaritan, all skin and bones and scared of the world.  We don't know what he suffered prior to being found but despite all of his hardship, he loves every person he has ever met.  While friendly to all people, Roo can be nervous of loud or busy environments.  He continues to gain weight and confidence.  He has settled quickly into house life. He loves his crate, and has done well with potty training.  He is doing great with chewing only on his toys.  Roo would be a great companion for someone who spends a lot of time outside because he is truly in his happy place being outside with his person!  He is being fostered around other dogs, cats, kids and chickens.  He is a smart boy and gets along with everyone.  Although he is fostered with young kids, Roo does have some puppy energy at times and is best with dog savvy kids or children 6 and up.  Roo is a very smart and energetic boy.  He would do best with an active family and would love a dog he can play all day with.  If you would like to meet Roo, please visit our website at www.carerescueok.org for our application. ##1941556##

Story
Blue is the longest term dog that we have. Blue came to us over a year ago. We got a call one morning that there was a dog tied to a pole. Blue is slow to warm up to new people, and it will take time for him to learn to trust you. Blue is dog friendly and has gotten along well with plenty of other dogs. Sometimes loud noises and sudden movements can startle him, so it would be best for him to go to an experienced pet owner. Blue is such a sweet heart once he gets to know you. He loves to play treat catch, and will rarely miss one. Sometimes Blue can be a picky eater, which will result in knocking his food bowl over, or he will cover his food up with his blanket and save it for later. Blue does wonderful for walks and bath time.

Story
Heath is a such a handsome guy! Heath is a wonderful dog who loves to go for walks, truck rides, or just excited about snuggles. He is a laid back guy, who would rather just be a lazy bum most of the time as long as he gets to go for at least one walk a day. He does wonderful walking on leash, he knows how to sit, and always keeps a clean kennel. Heath is a talker if he's in his kennel and he can see you, but you're not giving him attention.

Auggie was found starving to death along with his mother and due to him eating through his tie out was able to get help for them both. He overcame hunger and is now a happy boy. Who was living with a college student, but when she had to go home the resident dog was not a fan of him so we took him back. He loves other dogs especially Lacey they love to run and play. He is a goofy boy and loves to make goofy faces in his crate. Would love to see this boy with a family that he can grow with and never worry about a meal again.

Story
Eli is male black/brindle/lab/shepherd mix. Eli weighs approximately 60 pounds. He is crate trained, and somewhat house trained. He has an interesting cropped tail. Eli showed up on an elderly lady's porch and she couldn't take care of him. He is extremely energetic and loves to play. He needs daily exercise! If you are a runner, he would be a great running partner. He likes most dogs, however, can be dog selective as he is more dominant. He is very smart and has learned to sit and wait. Eli needs a very strong leader in his human, and someone who will continue to work with him on obedience and discipline training, and to be sure he gets plenty of exercise to curb some of his energy. But he will be a great dog.
