Story
Hazel ✨ 4 years old | Loyal | Ready for forever Hazel is the kind of dog who loves deeply once you’re hers. She’s affectionate, playful, loyal, and happiest simply being near her people. The kind of companion who will follow you from room to room just because she loves being part of your world. And at 4 years old? She’s past the chaos and into the sweet spot: ✔️ Housebroken ✔️ Crate trained ✔️ Leash trained ✔️ Excellent in the car ✔️ Professional cuddle enthusiast Hazel can be selective with other dogs, and honestly? After everything she’s been through, we don’t blame her. She may do well with the right respectful canine companion, or she may be happiest soaking up all the love as your one-and-only. What matters most is this: Hazel has waited patiently for someone to choose her. Not for a weekend. Not until something “easier” comes along. Forever. If you’ve been looking for a loyal best friend with a huge heart and so much love left to give, Hazel is right here waiting.

Story
WE’D REALLY LIKE TO GET LU LU OUT OF BOARDING… 💔 Lu Lu was originally adopted from us as a puppy under the name Topeka. Like every rescue dog, she deserved a forever home. Instead, she was returned to us as an adult, and she’s now spent far too long waiting in boarding for someone to give her a second chance. At nearly 5 years old, this beautiful Lab mix should be stretched out on a couch, following her person from room to room, and enjoying the simple comfort of being part of a family. Instead, her days are spent behind kennel walls. Lu Lu is a little shy when you first meet her, but it doesn’t take long before she’s leaning in for pets and looking up at you with those hopeful eyes that seem to ask, “Could you be my person?” She’s smart, loyal, eager to learn, and loves getting outside for adventures. She enjoys most dog friends and forms deep bonds with the people she trusts. Once Lu Lu loves you, she loves you with her whole heart. What she needs isn’t perfection. She doesn’t need a mansion, a huge yard, or someone who’s home every minute of the day. She just needs out. A foster home could change everything for her. An adopter could give her the happy ending she’s been waiting for since she came back to us. If you can’t foster or adopt, please share her post. The right person may be just one share away. And if you’d like to help while she waits, sponsorships toward her boarding costs are always appreciated. Let’s show Lu Lu that her story isn’t over yet. 🐾❤️

Sol may mean sun, but she’s looking for someone to be the center of her universe. Returned through no fault of her own, it’s easy to see she’s been well loved and checks all the boxes: ✔️Calm, gentle soul ✔️ Adores kids ✔️ Recognizes the cat as the queen of the house ✔️ House trained with excellent manners Sure, she may not love the crate, but at 6, she’s good enough that she can be left unattended. Unfortunately, she is undergoing heartworm treatment but is available for adoption through Legacy of Hope.

Story
I have had Bear since he was about 4 months old. I got him along with one of his brothers. Sadly, his brother had to be put down a couple years ago, and with both people in the house working, he mostly just stays outside all day. We just don't have the time he should get. He's a good dog, about 8 years old at this point. Not picky about food, and not picky about attention. He would do best with a larger yard and with someone that can help him burn some energy... Like kids or another dog. He does alright inside, but he does shed a lot.
