Story
Meet Brazil Nut: An Energetic Pup with a Cuddly SideBrazil Nut is an 11-month-old female Lab mix with a big personality and even bigger energy. She loves to run, play, and explore—especially when there’s snow involved! Despite her high energy, Brazil Nut settles down beautifully when it’s time to cuddle and enjoys close, affectionate moments with her people. She can be a bit shy at first, but once she gets to know you, Brazil Nut truly blossoms into a total love bug. She’s very food motivated, which will make training a fun and rewarding experience for both her and her future family.Brazil Nut would do best as the only dog in the home, unless she is adopted together with her buddy Pine Nut. Due to her energy level and need for space, she is not well suited for apartment living and would thrive in a home where she has room to move and burn off her enthusiasm.Brazil Nut is looking for an active, patient family ready to embrace her playful spirit and loving heart.

Story
Meet Pine Nut: A Big Ball of Energy Looking for Room to RunPine Nut is an 11-month-old male Lab mix with VERY high energy and a huge love for life. He’s always on the go and will need a home where he can burn off his energy through play, exercise, and enrichment. Pine Nut is incredibly affectionate and may jump up to greet you with love, so he’ll benefit from continued training to help channel his enthusiasm.Because he can be unaware of just how big he is, Pine Nut would be best suited for a home with kids aged 10 and up who can handle his size and excitement. He absolutely loves canine companions, and it is strongly preferred that he go to a home with another dog who can help him play, learn, and thrive.Although this beautiful ray of sunshine came to us positive for Lyme disease, with antibiotics and a little TLC from our caring staff, Pine Nut is thriving and doing well. He will only need antibiotics for Lyme when he has a flare up, and it`s reccomended to continue monthly flea & tick treatment for further prevention. He is also on a special diet for the health of his liver and he will likely need to be kept on this diet moving forward: Royal Canin LD.Pine Nut is not suited for apartment living and will do best in a home with plenty of space where he can run, explore, and truly be a (Pine) Nut. With the right environment, training, and companionship, Pine Nut will make a wonderfully fun and loyal family member.
