Story
Annie / Female / 1.5 Years / 33 lbs / Lab mix / Good with Dogs / Good with Kids / Good with Cats / From Mexico / Fostered in Toronto Follow Annie’s journey on Instagram @rescue.ranger.to Annie has had a bit of a rough start to life. Found as a tiny pup suffering from malnutrition, parasites, and a coatimundi bite (Annie learned the adage of "never pick a fight with a coati" the hard way), she's since been rescued by caring people and given both food and medical care. Now, this sweet, loving, and above all, cuddly girl is searching for a forever home. When you first meet Annie, the first thing you'll notice is that she's a shy dog. She doesn't come bounding up to play, and she doesn't view everyone as a friend she just hasn't met yet. You have to spend time with her, earn her trust, and then you'll find that this girl is the sweetest little love pup you ever did see. Annie's three favorite things are snuggling, napping on someone's lap, and belly rubs, in that order. She'll happily spend all day snuggling on the couch—it's her happy place. Annie is always in the mood for couch cuddles and a long nap in her humans' arms. It'll take some work, but once you're in, she'll stick to you like glue. Just as with people, new dogs need to be introduced slowly and calmly, letting Annie get used to their presence at her own pace. Her best possible canine companion would be an older, confident dog that understands her needs and doesn't rush her to play. Similarly, young children will need to give Annie her space until she's ready to interact. Cats are likely a fine fit for her somewhat skittish personality. Although she'd prefer to spend all day as a couch potato, Annie still needs her exercise just like everyone else. The good news is she's an excellent walker; she doesn't pull on the leash, heels when asked, and doesn't react to passing people or other dogs. She's afraid of loud noises and busy streets, so definitely take her to a quiet park or neighborhood for her to get her steps in. Speaking of steps, Annie often walks with a bit of a limp due to an injury from her puppy days that didn't heal properly. She has trouble going up stairs and keeping her footing on slick floors like tiles or hardwood. She'd do best with carpeted floors and either a single-floor home or an apartment with an elevator. Annie is potty and crate trained, and while she's known to steal the odd sock, she doesn't exhibit any destructive behaviors when she's left alone for a few hours. She doesn't have a lot of obedience training because she's a bit nervous outdoors, but she's definitely food motivated, so a patient teacher will probably have some success teaching her in a quiet area. What Annie mostly needs is a calm, quiet home with a patient guardian to help build up her confidence. Once she's settled in, she'll bloom into the most loving dog anyone could ever ask for. If you’re interested in adopting Annie, please apply at https://www.fetchandreleash.ca/adoption-info#adoption-form Annie’s adoption fee is $850. Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Lime Age: Estimated to be born on February 6th 2026 (Around 4 months old) Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo Labrador mix Color: Cream / Light Beige Weight: 7kg / 15.4lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY My mama and I were neglected and had to endure some very difficult living conditions. Thankfully, kind-hearted people noticed our situation and stepped in to help, giving us the chance at a brighter future. Now, I'm safe, loved, and ready to find a forever family of my own! Oh, and I’m not the only lucky one—I’m siblings with Kiwi, Lemon, and Papaya, and together we've been getting a fresh start on life.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I look quite different from my siblings, and the funny thing is that all of us look different from one another! Out of the bunch, I probably look the most like a classic Jindo–Labrador mix. One of my best features is my adorable droopy ears—they’re a little oversized for my face, which just makes me even cuter! I’m a gentle, sweet, and happy-go-lucky puppy who enjoys taking life one day at a time. Sometimes you’ll find me daydreaming or happily doing my own thing, and I’m great at entertaining myself. I’m still working on learning the command "sit"—my siblings may have mastered it already, but I’m getting there at my own pace! What I may lack in obedience skills right now, I make up for with my loving personality. I’m incredibly friendly with both people and other dogs, and I’m always happy to make new friends wherever I go.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m an incredibly friendly pup who loves meeting people! I greet everyone with a happy, excited attitude and am always ready to make a new friend. Treats are definitely one of my favorite ways to say hello, and I never turn down affection from the people I meet. I’m also comfortable being handled and allow myself to be picked up, making me an easygoing companion to have around. With my social and loving personality, I’m always eager to share smiles, tail wags, and cuddles with those around me. · With Dogs: I get along well with other dogs and enjoy saying hello to new canine friends, but I'm definitely more of a people-oriented pup. When I meet new dogs, I like to take my time exploring my environment before deciding if I want to play. I have a calm, gentle temperament and am known for being a peacemaker who prefers to avoid conflicts and keep things friendly. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I'm still a young pup with lots of learning and growing ahead of me! I'm working on my leash skills, socialization, and confidence, and I'm making steady progress every day. I don't mind people around my food, although I can be a bit sensitive if other dogs are nearby during mealtime. I may occasionally bark for attention when I want something, but I calm down quickly once my needs are met. I'm also practicing settling quietly in my kennel and getting better all the time. As for potty habits, I currently use both pee pads indoors and go potty outside, making me well on my way to becoming a wonderful companion.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • A family that understands I’m still a young pup and willing to be patient and continue my socialization training   SPECIAL NOTES Volunteers and staff often tell me that my happy personality brightens their day. I'm the kind of pup who always seems to have a smile on my face and brings positive energy wherever I go. I truly deserve a loving forever home, and I know I would thrive with a family looking for a sweet, happy-go-lucky companion with that lovable Labrador mix personality. Since I'm still young, I'm continuing to learn about the world around me and develop my skills. I'll do best with a patient family that can show me the ropes, help build my confidence, and support me as I grow into the amazing dog I'm meant to be. In return, I'll reward you with a lifetime of love, loyalty, and happy tail wags.   LIME'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2751154##

Story
My name is Blackie, and I’m a 4-year-old female Labrador mix weighing around 22kg — a healthy, comfortable medium-large size. I may have a black coat that stands out, but what people notice first about me isn’t just my appearance… it’s my gentle eyes and the soft, warm energy I give off. I tend to quietly melt into people’s hearts without even trying. 💛 I’ve always been the kind of dog who prefers to live close to people. I feel happiest when I can breathe, move, and simply exist beside someone I trust. In structured kennel environments, I found it difficult because I had to spend a lot of time alone and follow strict routines without much human connection. During that time, I showed signs of loneliness — because what I wanted most was simply to be near people. Since moving into a foster home, I’ve changed a lot. I’ve become much more stable, more relaxed, and much happier. I love being close to my caregiver, following them around the house, and resting nearby. My expression has softened, and I’ve started to show my affectionate side more and more. I truly enjoy “being together” — that’s where I feel safest and happiest. I may have experienced neglect and hardship in the past. No one knows all the details of my earlier life, but I carry quiet traces of it with me. Even so, I never gave up on people. I didn’t become cold or distant. Instead, I slowly learned that human kindness can feel warm and safe. And now, I’m learning how to love again. I’m not looking for someone who will only feed me or take me out. I’m looking for a family — someone who will share time with me, talk to me, look into my eyes, and make everyday moments feel meaningful. I feel happiest in those small, ordinary moments. There is one important thing I still need help with: being alone. Because I love people so much, I may struggle a little when I’m left by myself for long periods. I’m not severely anxious, but I do form strong bonds, and I need gentle practice learning that being alone is safe too. If I’m introduced gradually to alone time — starting with short periods and slowly increasing — I can learn to feel more secure and confident. What helps me most is consistency and reassurance, not pressure. I may also still be learning parts of home life — walking routines, house rules, household sounds, and daily rhythms. But I am very motivated by human connection. When I feel loved and encouraged, I naturally try to understand and adapt. At first, I may want to stay very close to you as I adjust to a new environment. Instead of forcing independence too quickly, I need patience and emotional safety while I build trust. A calm routine, regular walks, and gentle companionship will help me feel grounded. I’m not just a dog who needs care. I’m a dog who wants to belong. Somewhere along my journey, I learned what it feels like to be loved — and now I want to hold onto that feeling forever. I want a home where I can finally relax, where I don’t have to wonder if I’ll be left behind again. I may have started my life with loneliness, but I’m hoping my future will be filled with presence, warmth, and love. I’m Blackie, and I’m waiting for the family who will let me stay close… not just for a while, but forever. 🐾

Story
A soft-hearted sweetheart bursting with life, joy, and love, Honey is the kind of dog who will quietly steal your heart and never give it back. This three and half year-old lab cross' happy spirit shines through in everything she does, from her enthusiastic sniff-filled adventures to the way she lights up around her favourite people. In the home, Honey is an absolute dream. She’s calm, affectionate, beautifully behaved, and a total crate superstar. She settles easily, loves being near her people, and has that comforting, gentle presence that makes a house feel more like home. Out in the world, Honey’s happiest place is a quiet park with plenty of room to roam, sniff, and explore at her own pace. Give her open space, a peaceful trail, or a calm suburban stroll, and you’ll see her relaxed, engaged, and happily trotting alongside you with her curious nose to the ground. Watching Honey enjoy the simple things in life like soft grass, fresh air, and a good sniffing route is pure happiness. Honey is a sensitive girl, and busy streets full of noise, traffic, bikes, and close-up dogs can feel overstimulating for her. Because of this, she’s looking for a patient, dog-savvy adopter who lives in a quieter suburban or country setting and can help her manage her leash reactivity. The beautiful thing? Through it all, her love for people never wavers. Her temperament with humans is truly exceptional as she is sweet, trusting, affectionate, and full of heart. Honey doesn’t need a perfect home, but she does need one where close encounters with the canine kind will be minimal. In return, Honey promises unwavering loyalty, joyful adventures, endless cuddles, and the kind of love that feels extra special because it’s been earned.
