Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Friendly, Affectionate, Loyal, Gentle, Playful, SmartMy name is Guerra and I hope to quickly become the best part of your life. I am a female yellow lab mix with a lovely coat and an even better disposition. I'm 2.5 years old and weigh about 30lbs, the perfect medium sized dog for your home. I was found by some very kind people at a local landfill, nursing two different litters of puppies. They have since gone north to get adopted, and now I'm waiting for my chance too. Although I had a rough start in life, I am the sweetest girl and have such a zest for living. I am currently residing in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, but my foster family can arrange a video meet and greet, and I can be transported to pretty much anywhere on the West Coast to be your dog. I will come to you fully vaccinated, sterilized and healthy. I'm a really special girl ready for her forever home. Wouldn't you like to meet and see if we are a match? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Gorgeous chocolate lab/basset hound mix female puppy.Hi I am Venus! I am just a puppy, and some would say a “low rider”. That means I have short legs; I think that might have come from my dad. I am chocolate brown with a white patch on the chest and lovely green eyes. I am pretty independent and love to run. I like to play with my siblings, I am most often the last one to lay down for a nap there is just too much to do. I learn new things every day, and guess what, I already know how to swim, and I'm pretty good at it! Ssme things scare me a little bit, but I am curious to find out what it is. Loud noises don’t really bother me. I do react when the other big dogs bark, but I don’t run and hide or anything. I don’t live with kids or cats, but I think they would be ok if we got to know each other. Maybe we could play with toys together. I like the squeaky ones or sticks and ropes. I love to give kisses, snuggle and give ear nibbles.  I am quite content to lay back and get a belly rub. I have been in the car, I don’t get sick or anything, but it can be scary, I probably need more practice. I love my food especially when we get some little extra yummy wet food, I know there is lots to go around so I don’t guard my food. We are still working on potty training; I think I still need more time to get the hang of it. If you are looking for a young pup that you can teach to be the best dog, then fill in the application and let's meet soon! Lots of love, Venus More About Venus:  Crate trained for nighttime 3 meals a day still, Costco puppy food, chicken-based kibble with home made wet food or wet pouches She knows her name and will come when called Good in the car, just lays down Strong swimmer, likes the water Likes to dig Plays rough with her siblings Visit this link to submit an application https://woofsandwagsdogrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=3225Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 25, 2024, 2:52 pm

Story
Jax currently spends his days in a kennel. I agreed to foster him for a while as he did not get along with another dog. He is sweet and happy and LOVES to run and sniff, sniff, sniff. I think he would get along with other dogs, but not sure. He minds well but is distracted by any kind of activity. Squirrels, birds, rabbits.....anything that runs he will chase. I take him to a spot where there are no people or wild animals and let him run for an hour once a week. It's not nearly enough. Looking for a home with a fenced property so he can run around and/or someone who can take him running.

Story
Fernando is a very loving dog who wants nothing more than to play with rocks and cuddle his people. This affectionate young man does great with people of all ages and even cares for his special rocks like they're his own babies.  Fernando has been a rock star when it comes to his training as well! This intelligent boy knows how to sit, wait, 'leave it', and lie down. He also does well on leash the majority of the time but if he sees something he sees as a threat he may pull to protect but is easily redirected with a treat and a 'sit' command.  Fernando also loves to play with medium to large respectful dogs. He would love to have a canine friend or two! He would do best in a home with no cats or other small, chase-able animals. If this affectionate, intelligent, and goof young boy sounds perfect for your family, come down to meet him today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Marshall is a gentle, curious boy who is looking for a home where he can continue to gain confidence around humans. Marshall first came to the Ranch as a dumped dog who never had much socialization around people. Considering his past, he's come a long way! He is learning to walk bravely on leash and loves to come up to his humans for treats and attention. Once you've earned his trust, he'll lean in for gentle petting. He gets on well with other dogs and would adjust more quickly with a confident dog to help show him the way.
