Story
We are looking for a new home for this sweet boy urgently! Located in Medford, Oregon. This is Theodore! He is a 4 year old Lab / Pit mix coming in at about 70 lbs. He is as loving and cuddly as can be! He loves to hug with both arms, going on runs, biting at the water hose, keeping an eye on the vacuum, and napping on the couch. I would consider his energy level medium, as he loves to go on a walk/hike/run, but will spend most of the day on the couch if you do too. So far he has displayed extreme potential to learn. He will sit and wait at crosswalks or sit and wait for the go ahead to eat meals. He always listens for a treat but doesn’t always come when called in the backyard or on a hike.We were told he did very well with other dogs in the shelter. He did not do well in the shelter mentally, he was very anxious, and that is the main reason we are looking here (to not send him where he won’t thrive). He does so well with us at home though and deserves a great, loving home!!

Story
I am desperate to get a home for this sweet boy. Kodiak is my daughter's dog. She got him a a puppy but as he got older he developed a very sensitive skin issue. My daughter has taken him to a vet many times. They give him a shot and he's good for awhile and then it comes right back. The problem now is they had a baby and they've been fighting her health because she had asthma. She has had pneumonia twice this year alone and she is only 2 and 1/2. So, we believe the dander ( it's ALOT) is contributing to some of her illnesses. This is where they have to choose between the dog and their daughter. They have an appt this Thursday 07/23/2026 to talk about putting him down. He is a good boy other than his skin issues but they have run out of options. Please, please. If you can help. Please let us know Thank you so very much

Story
Meet Munchkin, a Lab blend with a heart that is growing bigger every single day. When he first arrived, he was scared, skinny, and unsure about the world around him. People were new, and trust did not come easily. But it did not take long for this sweet boy to show us who he really is. With a little patience and kindness, Munchkin has absolutely blossomed into an energetic, affectionate love bug who is discovering just how wonderful life can be.He learned “sit” in about five minutes (smart boy alert!) and is finally starting to embrace the joyful chaos of being a puppy: playing, learning, and soaking up all the love he can get.Munchkin is looking for a family who will keep showing him the ropes and help him continue learning that the world is full of good things and kind people. He still has plenty to learn, but he is already proving that he has huge potential and an even bigger heart. If you are ready for a loyal sidekick, a fast learner, and a puppy who just wants to love and be loved, Munchkin might be your guy. 💛If you are interested in taking Munchkin home, please fill out an application from our website and send it to our team at connect@roguevalleyhumanesociety.org. Story
Meet RJ, a 9 month old Lab blend who has come such a long way since arriving at the shelter. When he first came to us, he was scared, skinny, and unsure about the people around him. Everything felt new and a little overwhelming. But with a little patience and kindness, RJ has started to discover that the world is not such a scary place after all. In no time, this sweet boy began to open up, showing us his gentle personality and affectionate side.RJ is a smart cookie, too. He is eager to learn and loves positive attention. While he still enjoys playful puppy moments, RJ has a slightly more mellow, thoughtful nature and often prefers to soak up affection and spend time close to his people. RJ is looking for a family who will continue helping him build confidence and keep showing him how kind people and the world can be. He still has plenty to learn, but he’s already showing just how much potential he has to grow into an incredible companion. If you are looking for a sweet, smart pup with a gentle heart and a bright future, RJ might just be your perfect match. 💛If you are interested in taking RJ home, please fill out an application from our website and send it to our team at connect@roguevalleyhumanesociety.org. Meet Rocket – Your Personal Launchpad to Fun and Cuddles! Ready for blastoff? Rocket is here to take your heart on an out-of-this-world adventure! This spunky, outgoing young lovebug is bursting with energy and affection—and he’s got the perfect mix of playfulness and snuggle skills. Whether he’s zooming around during playtime or curling up for a cozy cuddle session, Rocket knows how to make every moment count. Rocket’s a star player in playgroups and knows his doggy manners like a champ. He loves making furry friends and thrives when he’s got other pups to chase and wrestle with. Because of his social nature, we recommend Rocket find a home with other dogs or a family who can treat him to regular trips to the dog park—after all, even the most amazing rockets need to blow off some steam! Found as a stray, Rocket’s past is a bit of a mystery, but you’d never guess it—he acts like he’s always been surrounded by loving humans. His signature happy dance will have you grinning every time he spots his favorite people or dinner coming his way. Though Rocket is still learning the ropes of basic obedience, he’s already impressing everyone with his leash manners, often staying close by your side on walks like the perfect co-pilot. Story
Storm is a really good dog. He’s very smart. He just needs someone to train him and have patience with him. He’s good with cats just need to be properly introduced to them in the beginning. He’s been around other dogs in the dog park but at first, he likes to bark and get in their face but eventually plays with them he is not aggressive or bites. He’s just fear based. he needs to be social and have a bigger home and a backyard
