Story
July Monthly Report for Rainbow Rainbow has been progressing well here on our West campus. She continues to be on track for our Hearing Assistance program and her expected graduation date is November of this year. Rainbow has shown great obedience and a desire to learn. She has a drive for sound work and enjoys the work. In public, we are working on her attention barking and greetings. As mentioned, Rainbow has wonderful obedience. She is working mainly around dog distractions and heeling as she forges ahead occasionally. In sound work, she is working on her handler alert and is already going to the sound on her own! All we have to do is piece the two together and she's on her way! Her attention barking has become more prevalent in public as she gets more comfortable with her handler and the facility she is in. So we continue to work it in public, along with her crating behaviors. Rainbow loves her roommate, Clover! They get along so well, and I've seen them snuggling together on the same bed. In the play groups, Rainbow is a playful force that invites everyone to play. She brings toys to the other dogs in training and if someone is 'left out' of the group, she'll go over and engage with them. Rainbow has such a sweet face! Even when attention barking, she's quite cute! She does well in public and has gone to the airport, the farmer's market, and a few grocery stores. She's appropriate with strangers and prances around proudly out in public. Thank you for giving Rainbow such a PAWSitive start! She could not have made it this far without your hard work and dedication!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Friendly, Affectionate, Loyal, Gentle, Playful, SmartMy name is Guerra and I hope to quickly become the best part of your life. I am a female yellow lab mix with a lovely coat and an even better disposition. I'm 2.5 years old and weigh about 30lbs, the perfect medium sized dog for your home. I was found by some very kind people at a local landfill, nursing two different litters of puppies. They have since gone north to get adopted, and now I'm waiting for my chance too. Although I had a rough start in life, I am the sweetest girl and have such a zest for living. I am currently residing in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, but my foster family can arrange a video meet and greet, and I can be transported to pretty much anywhere on the West Coast to be your dog. I will come to you fully vaccinated, sterilized and healthy. I'm a really special girl ready for her forever home. Wouldn't you like to meet and see if we are a match? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Gorgeous chocolate lab/basset hound mix female puppy.Hi I am Venus! I am just a puppy, and some would say a “low rider”. That means I have short legs; I think that might have come from my dad. I am chocolate brown with a white patch on the chest and lovely green eyes. I am pretty independent and love to run. I like to play with my siblings, I am most often the last one to lay down for a nap there is just too much to do. I learn new things every day, and guess what, I already know how to swim, and I'm pretty good at it! Ssme things scare me a little bit, but I am curious to find out what it is. Loud noises don’t really bother me. I do react when the other big dogs bark, but I don’t run and hide or anything. I don’t live with kids or cats, but I think they would be ok if we got to know each other. Maybe we could play with toys together. I like the squeaky ones or sticks and ropes. I love to give kisses, snuggle and give ear nibbles.  I am quite content to lay back and get a belly rub. I have been in the car, I don’t get sick or anything, but it can be scary, I probably need more practice. I love my food especially when we get some little extra yummy wet food, I know there is lots to go around so I don’t guard my food. We are still working on potty training; I think I still need more time to get the hang of it. If you are looking for a young pup that you can teach to be the best dog, then fill in the application and let's meet soon! Story
We adopted Rip two years ago and with our schedule it’s just too much for our house hold. Hate to rehome an animal, but we need to. Rip is a lab mix and is brindle in color. Around 100 lbs or so, he thinks he is smaller than he really is. Kennel trained, house broke, neutered. Good with kids and family atmosphere, not good with cats. So far has been great with other dogs. He is very playful.

Story
Fernando is a very loving dog who wants nothing more than to play with rocks and cuddle his people. This affectionate young man does great with people of all ages and even cares for his special rocks like they're his own babies.  Fernando has been a rock star when it comes to his training as well! This intelligent boy knows how to sit, wait, 'leave it', and lie down. He also does well on leash the majority of the time but if he sees something he sees as a threat he may pull to protect but is easily redirected with a treat and a 'sit' command.  Fernando also loves to play with medium to large respectful dogs. He would love to have a canine friend or two! He would do best in a home with no cats or other small, chase-able animals. If this affectionate, intelligent, and goof young boy sounds perfect for your family, come down to meet him today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Marshall is a gentle, curious boy who is looking for a home where he can continue to gain confidence around humans. Marshall first came to the Ranch as a dumped dog who never had much socialization around people. Considering his past, he's come a long way! He is learning to walk bravely on leash and loves to come up to his humans for treats and attention. Once you've earned his trust, he'll lean in for gentle petting. He gets on well with other dogs and would adjust more quickly with a confident dog to help show him the way.
