You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Friendly, Affectionate, Loyal, Gentle, Playful, SmartMy name is Guerra and I hope to quickly become the best part of your life. I am a female yellow lab mix with a lovely coat and an even better disposition. I'm 2.5 years old and weigh about 30lbs, the perfect medium sized dog for your home. I was found by some very kind people at a local landfill, nursing two different litters of puppies. They have since gone north to get adopted, and now I'm waiting for my chance too. Although I had a rough start in life, I am the sweetest girl and have such a zest for living. I am currently residing in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, but my foster family can arrange a video meet and greet, and I can be transported to pretty much anywhere on the West Coast to be your dog. I will come to you fully vaccinated, sterilized and healthy. I'm a really special girl ready for her forever home. Wouldn't you like to meet and see if we are a match? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet, gentle female lab mix puppy.Meet Bonnie, a plump, roly poly lab mix puppy who was rescued along with her littermates after being found in the desert with their mama in La Paz, BCS, Mexico. Bonnie is a calm and friendly pup, and loves interacting with her humans. She is the largest of her litter and loves to be picked up and held and snuggled. Bonnie was rescued when she was just a few weeks old, and grew up in a foster home with good vet care, food, and lots of love and attention. Her mama is a small/medium sized  beagle/terrier mix around 30 lbs, and we think there is some Lab/Shar Pei in this litter from the dad's side. Bonnie is sterilized, vaccinated and ready to find her forever family! Hi, I'm Sonny!**I am currently chilling in foster care, please contact Kennel staff if you would like to schedule a meeting with me!**Do you like...Dogs? I was originally found with a doggy pal. Here at the shelter, I am not always socially appropriate meeting new pups. Please bring any dogs in the home to meet and we'll see if we're a good fit!Cats? Unknown. With supervision and slow introductions, I may be able to live with your cat.Kids? I'd like to start out meeting kiddos 10+ who can be gentle and respectful of me.Anything else you'd like us to know, Sonny? I'm about 7 years old and weigh 62 pounds. I have a medical release that staff can discuss with you about my teeth!I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I'm looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. Story
Hi, I'm Teak! ** I still need to be spayed so when my forever family decides to adopt me I will be placed on hold. Then I can be picked up after my surgery. **I am a young gal who can be nervous in new situations. I am looking for a home that will help me build confidence, socialize me and give me lots of exercise! I'm about 1 years old and weigh about 50 pounds. Do you like dogs? I came in with another dog and would need to meet any other dogs in the family before adoption.Cats? I am not sure how I would do around cats so a slow, supervised introduction would be best.Kids? I am a bit nervous in new situations and can get easily startled. Older kiddos (8+) in the home that understand this and respect my space would be best. I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. Story
Sam was adopted from LCAS 5 years ago, but unfortunately his pet parent passed away, leaving no one to care for Sam. Sam is a 9 year old, 61 pound, neutered male Labrador and Border Collie mix who may be a senior but he still has plenty of energy and love to give. Sam is super smart and is a great ball dog...he can play fetch for hours! This handsome guy would do great in a home that can give him the exercise and mental stimulation that he's looking for. Sam lived with another dog in his previous home, but should meet any potential canine housemates. Sam cannot live with cats or small animals. Come on down and meet this playful guy and find your new best friend! **Appointments and completed dog adoption applications are required for dog meet and greets, so please call the Shelter at 541-265-0720 to speak with a staff member about the animal you are interested in adopting. **All adoption candidates have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated and wormed! Adoptions include a free veterinary visit, a coupon for Feed Corral on Hwy 101, and a coupon from Mini Pet Mart. If you live in Lincoln County and have dogs in the home, they must be licensed in Lincoln County (requires current rabies vaccination) and do a meet and greet here at the shelter. If you rent, you would need permission from your landlord to have a pet. Phone messages and emails will be returned in the order they are received. You may reach us at 541-265-0720 or lcanimalshelter@co.lincoln.or.us for more information.
