He is deeply comitted to keeping everyone informed at all times. If there is something happening, he will narrate it. If nothing is happening, he'll still narrate it. The good news! He is extremely sweet, loves people, he has goofy lab charm with dramatic hound flair, and he genuinely wants to be your best friend. He wound thrive in a home with space to let his inner town crier shine. Rural property preferred, sense of humor required. Big Red has a big heart and loves attention. Whether he is getting butt scratches or playing with a squeaky toy, he just wants your tender lovin'. Red is a confident dog and loves to play with toys. He generally does well with other dogs, but does not want anyone messing with his food or treats. Red can play nicely with other dogs and enjoys being chased and playing tug of war, but he can get overly focused on what the other dog might be playing with, so keep an eye on them. Big Red likes to test boundaries with other dogs he might be living with, which means being vigilant and well versed in animal behavior is a plus if his next home has other dogs. Red enjoys walks, playing with toys and being in your general vicinity. He is potty and crate trained, which goes to show just how smart this big guy is! Big Red is an expert toy tester and will rip apart anything to figure out what is inside. Toys are his emotional support item of choice. I adopted Blue from my local animal shelter on Mothers Day. I am allergic to his hair l. The allergy meds make me too tired to be the functioning dog owner he deserves. He is shy but once he warms up he is a gem! Crate trained. House trained. They had him on anxiety meds at the shelter. I have been tapering him off. He is doing great. I would like to see him get more play and exercise than I can provide. Especially with me having to be on the meds. Blue is about two. He is a very well trained and gentle giant. Breaks my heart to have to let him go. As a disabled vet, he is a perfect dog! He deserves a more active owner.

Meet Blue! He isn't plotting world domination... but maybe dominating your heart! He's a shy guy who's still learning that the world isn't so scary with a little help from his anxiety meds. Once he warms up though? Total softie, playful, sweet, and ready to be your biggest fan. He just needs someone willing to go at HIS pace. Blue’s previous owner couldn't keep him due to allergies. She was kind enough to share this with us: Blue has been the best dog! Very loyal and obedient. He is house trained and kennel trained! Leash trained too! He became particularly fond of and very coordinated with his ORANGE CHUCKIT balls. He understands "NO" and picked up quick on places he can go and cannot go! He can walk for miles too. He loves his grass!! Very affectionate but it will take at least 3 visits for him to TRUST you! He is very shy and needs a patient person. Once he is comfortable with you, he is ALL YOURS and lets others know it, too. Not a huge barker unless it's potty time or he feels threatened. Usually just growls with confidence when he's not sure of a noise or someone. (He is smart in who he picks to trust too) Very keen senses! IMO he could make a great service dog! Just needs a patient owner, time and a permanent home. He truly is a gentle giant of a gem.

I am a 2 year old Lab mix, and my friends say I am energetic, but I just think life is more fun when you are moving especially if there is a ball involved. I’m a transfer from the Coos County Animal Shelter, and I am so ready to find my forever teammates. I have a very high ball drive, which is just a fancy way of saying that I live for the game.
