Hi, I'm Sonny!Do you like...Dogs? I was originally found with a doggy pal. Here at the shelter, I am not always socially appropriate meeting new pups. Please bring any dogs in the home to meet and we'll see if we're a good fit!Cats? Unknown. With supervision and slow introductions, I may be able to live with your cat.Kids? I'd like to start out meeting kiddos 10+ who can be gentle and respectful of me.Anything else you'd like us to know, Sonny? I'm about 7 years old and weigh 62 pounds. I have a medical release that staff can discuss with you about my teeth!I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I'm looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. Story
Teakwood was found on 4/17/24 at Evergreen Dr and Maxwell St. It is unknown at this time if she is spayed. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Introducing Cody, affectionately known as "Little Guy," an adorable and playful puppy currently in foster care and eagerly awaiting his forever home. Cody has the cutest look, thanks to his delightful spots and beautiful coloring. His unique white streak down the center of his head makes him make him stand out. People always assume he got into the kitchen pantry and found the flour! While Cody enjoys the company of all his furry friends, it's clear that his best buddy is Tommy, the largest dog in the household. Cody doesn't seem to care if Tommy is huge & loves to engage in playful interactions with Tommy and is often seen trying to initiate games with him. Cody's favorite game is Tug of War with his pal Tommy. Although he's still working on his house training, Cody is making progress and is well on his way to becoming fully trained. Cody didn't seem to mind the crate at first, but his foster mom soon realized he didn't need it and leaves him out to play and interact with the other pups while she is away. Cody is a loving puppy, and even did well with kids he met. Cody seems to thrive in the company of dogs of all sizes. He hasn't been exposed to cats, since he is young, we think he could at least try to meet them and see how he does. Cody is an energetic little fellow, as he is still just a puppy. He enjoys playing with toys, especially those he can get someone to play Tug with him. When he's not playing, you'll often find him napping, right alongside the other dogs in the house. This smart pup is currently learning basic commands, with "sit" being his primary focus. With continued patience and consistent training, Cody is sure to pick up more tricks & continue to learn how to be the best addition to his new family. If you're looking to add a playful and loving puppy to your family, Cody could be the perfect addition. Don't miss the chance to give this adorable "Little Guy" a forever home filled with happiness and warmth. To see more pictures and videos of Cody copy and paste this link, you can apply directly for Cody by clicking the "Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-210 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday). We only adopt in the USA. We are open to adopting in other states, except in Massachusetts. There are quarantine laws for MA and until these laws change, we are not able to adopt into MA.

Story
Hi! My name is Lilly. I used to live on a farm with my 3 fur siblings but my dad got a new job and we had to move to town. Now we are temporarily staying with grandma and grandpa but they can’t have more than 3 pets in their neighborhood. I am 1 ½ years old. I love to play outside, play inside with toys and chewey things, snuggle with my people and play with my fur siblings. I still have a lot of puppy in me and I would need someone who would take the time to work with me, but I am smart and I learn quickly. I probably shouldn’t be around cats (I think they are fun to chase) but I love kids.

Adoption Fee: $ 300.00Arrival Date: 6/29/23Weight: 55.0 lbs.Microchip: # 982091068065259Hi everyone! My name is Homer. I arrived at SafeHaven with my 7 siblings back in July. Since arriving here at such a young age, I'm a puppy that has grown up in a shelter environment. Overlooked by anyone who walks by my kennel, I continued to be scared and very shy. I think most people expect a bouncy happy friendly pup, but not all dogs are the same or move at the same pace. I do great with other dogs and truly am a sweetheart, I just need a little more time to adjust in a quiet home that has lots of time to let me decompress. I was in a foster home so I could get some more socialization. My foster parent said the following about me (I'm so proud of how far I've come in the past 6 months with my foster family!):"Homer is a snuggle bug! He loves the couch and is always joining us there. As soon as we get up, he's right behind us. He loves to play with our dog and is so athletic! He's gotten so comfortable now, he'll even get the occasional zoomies- running circles around and around our dog while they play. He enjoys going on walks. He loves walks so much now, he gets very excited when we get his harness and leash out. He does pull a bit, his nose has a lot of exploring to do and loves to sniff around!".His Foster Parents also recommended cheese and peanut butter for tasty treats! Homer is crate trained, but sometimes has to be coaxed with a treat first. I had the BEST foster family, but I hope to find my forever home very soon. Are you looking for a true rescue? I will be work at first, but I'm so worth it!Come down to SafeHaven to meet me today!
