Story
Meet Naila! Naila is a young Lab/Boxer mix with a smile big enough to light up the whole room. Her start in life wasn’t easy — she was found abandoned in a hot car alongside a small dog friend and then spent six long months in a shelter with no adoption interest. But despite everything, Naila’s spirit never dimmed. During her shelter stay, Naila battled severe chronic ear infections that eventually required a TECA (total ear canal ablation) surgery in her right ear, leaving her deaf on that side. But don’t worry — this brave girl doesn’t let it slow her down one bit! She’s adapted beautifully and gets around with confidence, joy, and her signature goofy wiggle. Naila is pure sunshine. She loves people, leans in for affection, and greets everyone like a long-lost friend. She’s a silly, happy soul who enjoys playtime, belly rubs, and simply being near her humans. Naila does wonderfully with male dogs and would love a canine buddy who matches her friendly energy. Because Naila is a playful gal we think older children would best suit her.  Naila is looking for a loving home that will cherish her, celebrate her resilience, and give her the happy, safe life she has always deserved. She is working hard on her crate training, leash skills and basic obedience while she stays with us to help her be successful in a forever home. Naila has not been around cats but can be cat tested for serious applicants.  Adoption fee includes; spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention and age-appropriate vaccines. Naila would do great in a home with...Cats : Dogs : Prefers male dogs Kiddos : 10+   ##2588006##

Story
Meet the New Years pups! These precious puppies had a rough start to life. Their sweet mama, a stray black Lab, gave birth to them outside before being found and brought to safety. Despite her circumstances, she has been an incredibly gentle, loving, and good-natured mom—and her puppies are just as wonderful. Mama stayed with her rescuer and has a potential family lined up. We believe their dad was a bulldog and maybe shepherd type based on the puppies’ looks, giving them an adorable mix of sturdy builds and soulful expressions.  Each pup is affectionate, people-loving, and full of that irresistible puppy charm. They enjoy cuddles, playtime, and soaking up all the love they can get. These babies are looking for families who are ready for the joys and responsibilities of raising a puppy—training, patience, and lots of love included. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as one of their forever home, be sure to submit an application!  ##2626310##

Story
Cooper is a 8 year old family dog. I have had him since he was 8 weeks old. He is a sweet and fun loving boy. I have an incredibly busy schedule and a toddler. Cooper knows all basic commands and is not food protective at all. My 5 year old is able to pull toys right out of his mouth with no fits from Cooper. Cooper needs consistent activity and I have not been able to give him that in over a year. He just wants to be loved and I want to give him a family that can give him the attention and exercise he needs. Cooper would also be great a single person or a couple.

Story
Shadow is a neutered lab/gsd mix who is a year and 3 months old. He’s the most affectionate & loving dog I’ve ever met! He loves to cuddle, explore outside, & play. He’s also very smart, learns easily, & wants to please. It breaks my heart to rehome him, but due to an unexpected move to a studio apartment & my older dog starting to develop hip dysplasia, I think it is best. He is extremely playful and she no longer wants to play with him often due to her hip hurting. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, & leave it. He is house & crate trained and knows “go to your crate.” I have also started muzzle training as a precaution because he is fearful at the vet. He can be anxious in new situations, however, he has gotten less anxious through exposure & training I have done with him. He’d be happiest in a single dog household with a yard where he can get all the attention & play often. I will include his crate, blanket, favorite toys & harness to help with his transition.

Story
Loki chose me at 5 weeks old. I visited him every few days until I could take him home at 8 weeks. He's 5 years old (10-5-20), love to cuddle, nosey, will want cheese every time you open the fridge. He loves playing in rivers and creeks. He will get right into the bathtub at bath time (every 2 weeks). He does have anxiety around other large male dogs, due to being attacked. Otherwise he likes small dogs, females and cats. He hasn't spent a lot of time around small children. So I don't know how he would act. He loves laying in the sun. So a fenced yard would be amazing for him. He's good with a dog door, never digs, can jump a fence shorter than 5 ft. He needs some work on a leash. He has some weird routines. Every morning he will lay next to you on bed for belly rubs and every night before bed. He generally sleeps at the foot of the bed. He needs work on begging. I hope he can find a loving home. This is the hardest decision I have ever had to make.

Story
Meet Clover – A Gentle Soul with a Forever-Wagging Tail Clover is one of those dogs who quietly steals your heart. With her soft ears, soulful eyes, and tail that never seems to stop wagging, she radiates sweetness and gratitude. Clover doesn’t ask for much—just to be close to her person, feel safe, and be loved. Clover is currently being fostered in a loving home in Seguin, Texas, where she is thriving in her own gentle way. She shares her days with her best friend, a 25 lb Corgi, and the two enjoy calm play, companionship, and cozy moments together. Clover has a naturally submissive, easygoing personality and showed no concern around larger dogs at the shelter. While she hasn’t yet been introduced to kids or cats, her tender spirit suggests she would do best in a calm, loving environment. She is crate-trained and house-trained, rides beautifully in the car, and walks nicely on a leash. Clover isn’t a dog who needs constant activity—she simply wants to be near you. Whether she’s curled up on her dog bed, resting on the couch beside her foster mom, or quietly following you from room to room, Clover’s happiest place is wherever her person is. Clover does have special medical needs that make her story even more meaningful. She has Megaesophagus, which is well managed with a simple feeding routine using frozen, meatball-shaped meals. She also has torn ACLs in both back legs, which are inoperable due to her other medical condition. Because of this, Clover needs a home that can offer a calm, low-impact lifestyle and understand her mobility limitations. Despite everything, Clover remains gentle, loving, and content—asking only for soft beds, routine, and affection. Clover can be a little shy around men at first, but with patience and kind words, she blossoms into a devoted companion. Due to her medical needs, transport would be too difficult for her, so Clover is available for adoption in Texas only. Clover is searching for a special forever home—one that sees past her challenges and straight into her heart. In return, she will offer quiet loyalty, endless love, and a tail that never stops wagging for the family who chooses her. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Available in TX only! Meet Goldie, a delightful foster dog ready to bring endless joy to her forever home. This sweet pup is a shining example of companionship, with a heart full of love and affection for her family. Goldie is crate and potty trained, making her a breeze to care for. She thrives on human interaction and adores snuggling up with her loved ones. Goldie's obedience skills are top-notch, with excellent recall and a repertoire of commands under her belt. She has a gentle nature, proven by her peaceful coexistence with cats in her previous home. Even around children aged 9-11, Goldie's affection shines through, though she may be too exuberant for toddlers. While she's a fantastic playmate, Goldie prefers to be the only dog in the household, as she can become territorial over her space. However, she's always up for a game of fetch and is highly motivated by treats, making training sessions a joy. Goldie loves car rides and would do excellent on a trip. Given her unknown past, Goldie thrives in a quiet home with a stable routine, where she can continue to blossom into the loyal companion she's destined to be. If you're looking for a devoted snuggle buddy who's as playful as she is loving, Goldie is the perfect match for you.
