Maggie is a sweet, intelligent, and full of energy 5 month old mixed puppy! She loves to be around her people, and be mentally stimulated. Maggie enjoys playing fetch, tug-of-war, sniffing out her food, and walks. She would thrive best in a home with a flexible schedule, with a family willing to provide physically and mentally engaging activities. Maggie would appreciate a yard, as well as introductions to other dogs first. Maggie is house and crate trained. She knows how to walk on a leash, but may pull when she smells something interesting! Maggie knows how to sit, lay down, wait, and drop it. Because she is a puppy, she does jump and nip when excited or frustrated. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and has no know dietary requirements. Maggie will need her rabies shot at her six month mark.

Hi there, I’m Oliver—a 10-year-old, 70-pound Black Lab/Retriever mix with a heart full of love. I may be a senior, but I still have plenty of pep for long walks, games of fetch, and snuggles on the couch. I’m an easygoing guy. I’m used to having the run of the house and I can stay home alone during a normal workday without any issues. At night, I settle down on my dog bed like the gentleman I am. I’m house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. I walk well on a leash, loose-leash almost always, although I can’t resist giving a little pull if I catch a really interesting scent and I can be leash reactive when I encounter other dogs. I love people, especially kids—they bring out my playful side. I had a cat-sister in my previous home and am living with a cat-brother in my current foster home. Treats are my weakness (what can I say, I am a lab)! I currently eat a fish-based diet (but any non-chicken food will do— I'm allergic). And not to brag, but I am pretty smart. At last count I knew 40 plus different phrases and some hand signals to boot! What I really enjoy most are the simple things: walks, a good game of fetch, and plenty of snuggle time. I’m wonderfully chill when it’s time to relax, and I’m a total sweetheart at heart. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will bring both joy and calm to your home, I might just be your perfect match.

Santiago 💙 He is great with other dogs and cats. He is good with chickens and goat too. He is 8 months old, lap/pit mix. Loves car rides and the park. Young sweet dog, family just doesn’t doesnt have the time for him and he is alone a lot. Can you help Santiago. SANTI NEEDS A HOME ~ He is a fun and loving pup! He is full of energy, but he never says no to cuddle time. He really likes to be around his people or know where they are. He is an ideal running partner but also would make a great companion for someone that has an active lifestyle and can take him on hikes or walks and give him exercise during the day. Santi likes adventure and has been enjoying going on hikes. He stays close by and comes when his name is called. He currently lives with 2 larger dogs in his foster home and enjoys wrestling and playing chase around the yard. He is a big fan of his stuffed animal toys, particularly the ones that make a crinkle noise. He will carry them around and will bring them to bed with him to curl up at your feet. He lives with cats and is great with them, often taking a nap nearby. He mostly ignores them, but if you have a playful cat, he will try to play too. I adopted Juniper from the Humane Society about a year ago. She is now about two years old and still filled with lots of energy! She has such a sweet soul and can be very cuddly, however sometimes her high energy can turn into rough play. I have become busy with school and have not been able to spend the time required to fix these behaviors, nor do I have the money to hire a professional trainer. Juniper loves the run and fetch! She would be best suited living on land where she has freedom, our current situation is not ideal for a dog with her energy. Although she has seemingly endless energy, she is a very loving and loyal dog!

Look DEEP into my eyes :).I am such a sweet and gentle girl with a heart of gold and so much love to share! My life was ruff before I landed here at the rescue, I was at the pound with my puppies, all 8 of them!! I was really blessed that I got to stay with them and get pled to a rescue, most mamas and pups are separated because most rescues prefer pups over mamas ;( But not MY rescue, I am just as loved as my pups are and I don't have all the puppy antics to handle :) So here I am, looking marvelous and waiting for that family who wants a soft and sweet girl to grace their couch... I am waiting for you to choose me because FRANKLY I go along with any color couch!! Tan- yup, white- ok (who buys white couches??), black- absolutely, chocolate- perfect match and even red!! So we are the best brother and sister you have EVER met! I promise :) We love each other, play together, don't fight over food or toys or friends either!! We do NOT have to be adopted together but just letting you know, if you are looking for a fun pair of siblings! We are DA BESt! Now, we were found on the streets and took care of each other out there... a nice graduate student found us and brought us to the rescue where we are safe, eating every day, have other friends to play with and lots of love and attention..... we are almost oomplete... except we KNOW there is a family or two for us!! Tony is a gorgeous red colored boy, he is medium sized, lanky and so so happy to be loved :D His sister Shelly is smart and sweet and playful and ready for her furever family with all kinds of adventures! ADOPT one or BOTH of us and make our LIVES!!! We are waiting!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
