Story
🐾 Meet Hank 🐾 “Your shadow, your protector, your best friend.” Hank is a handsome black Lab mix with a splash of white on his chest and a heart as big as his paws. He first came to the shelter at just 3 months old, and he’s grown into the kind of dog every family dreams of—loving, loyal, and ready to be your constant companion. This boy is truly the best of both worlds. With the people he knows and trusts, Hank is nothing but sweetness—polite, gentle, and eager to please. He’s very people-motivated, which means he’ll likely be a star in training with just a little guidance and consistency. His good manners already shine through: when he wants to join you on the couch, he’ll gently place a paw on your leg and give you a questioning look, as if to say, “May I?” But don’t mistake Hank’s loving nature for softness alone—he also has a natural protective instinct. He’ll happily bark to let you know when strangers come too close to his territory, making him not just a family dog, but a faithful guardian too. And then there’s Hank’s favorite role: being your shadow. This boy loves to stay close, following you from room to room as though he were your tail. Whether you’re working, relaxing, or heading out for an adventure, Hank is happiest right by your side. Hank is ready to bring love, loyalty, and a sense of security to a family who’s looking for more than just a pet—he’s looking to be a true partner.

Story
Sassy is a young adult female Labrador mix with a story that tugs at the heart — and a personality that quickly steals it. She was found abandoned outside our shelter in a crate, with two bags of her belongings left beside her. Understandably scared and overwhelmed, Sassy greeted the world with growls at first, unsure who she could trust. It didn’t take long for her true self to shine through. Within just one day, Sassy began to blossom into a cautious but goofy, incredibly loving girl who wants nothing more than to be close to her people. She has zero concept of personal space and would happily crawl into your skin if she could. Affection is her love language, and once she trusts you, she gives her whole heart. Sassy can get overstimulated or frustrated at times, and when that happens, she’s not shy about expressing herself — including the occasional dramatic paw “slap” to let you know she’s had enough. Because of this, she would do best with adopters who understand canine body language and can help her navigate big feelings with calm guidance and structure. Sassy is looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue to feel safe, secure, and truly wanted. With consistency, understanding, and plenty of affection, this goofy, loyal girl will make an incredible companion — one who loves hard and lives even harder.

Story
Noodle is a stunning brindle-and-white girl who truly shines once you get to know her. She may hang back at first, observing the world from a safe distance, but with a little patience, her playful, curious personality comes through. When she feels comfortable, Noodle’s puppy energy bursts out — darting around, exploring, and wagging her whole body in excitement. She’s not all energy, though — Noodle also has a sweet, affectionate side and loves soaking up gentle attention. She’ll happily follow you around, eager to be part of whatever you’re doing. Noodle would thrive in a home where she can feel secure, have a routine, and know she’s truly a part of the family. She seems open to getting along with other dogs, cats, and people of all ages, making her a wonderfully adaptable companion. Having come back into care after her previous adopters were unable to reclaim her, Noodle is ready for a fresh start with a loving family who can give her the patience, care, and affection she deserves. If you’re looking for a pup with both heart and energy, Noodle could be your perfect match.

Story
Lucy is a lovely blonde Labrador mix with a slender, athletic build and a sweet, affectionate personality. She’s a bright, food-motivated young adult who thrives on attention, training, and interaction. Lucy has previously lived with both dogs and cats and seems to enjoy the company of other animals, making her a wonderfully social companion. Like many clever young dogs, Lucy can get bored if she doesn’t have enough mental stimulation. She has a tendency to tear up stuffies and thick blankets when left without outlets for her energy and curiosity — a sure sign that she needs engaging activities, toys, and enrichment to stay happy. With proper guidance, training, and plenty of play, Lucy’s fun-loving and eager-to-please personality really shines. Lucy would do best in a home that can give her regular exercise, interactive toys, and consistent attention. She’s attentive, trainable, and ready to blossom in an environment where her intelligence and playful energy are appreciated. If you’re looking for a dog who’s affectionate, social, and full of life, Lucy could be the perfect addition to your family.
