Story
This gorgeous lady is Charlotte. Charlotte is an 8 year old middle aged, lab mix who has settled into her foster home and we are ready to tell you about her. This pretty girl is full of life- she loves to play a bit with her dog friends and human friends, she is crate trained, leash trained and housebroken. She sounds perfect so far, doesn’t she? A little secret…she is. Charlotte is super duper sweet, relatively low key and seems to be a go-with-the-flow kind of companion. She loves her head scratched, being brushed, her food (she’ll try to eat other dog’s food too, so be aware!) and loves children. Charlotte has some cataracts and some rear leg discomfort but is otherwise healthy and her pain has been kept in check with some pain medicine. She is easy to be around, she has so much love to give and she is looking forward to finding her family that will in return, give her all the love too. Charlotte would be a good fit in many different kinds of homes. Who is ready to meet her? Story
My family recently began fostering Zoe about 2 weeks ago from a family member who could no longer keep her. She is an absolute sweetheart and gets the best of compliments from all of the staff at our local veterinary clinic and Petsmart. We have two young boys (4 & 2) and a cat, and Zoe is great with letting all of them crawl all over her, love on her, and be near her while she is eating - no aggression whatsoever. She also does great while being walked on a leash. Zoe would make a great companion for any type of family or single individual - with other pets, small children, or none at all. She is housebroken and crate trained as well. The one thing that I have observed that she would benefit from at her next home is an owner who is home pretty regularly. She attached to me pretty quickly and did struggle with some separation anxiety for the first few days in our home whenever I was away. All vaccinations were completed on 7/1/25.

Story
Meet King! 🐾 King is an energetic and loving 8½-year-old pup who still acts like he’s a young dog at heart. He loves running around, playing fetch, and especially making you chase him for the toy — it’s his favorite game! He also enjoys just laying by your feet and watching tv with you. King is also a great road dog, if you enjoy traveling. He does great with small dogs and cats. Big dogs just take him a little more time, so slow introductions are best. King is also a little warrior — he had a malignant mass removed a while ago, but he’s recovered well and hasn’t let it slow him down one bit. Right now, I’m active duty military and will be relocating temporarily, so I’m looking for someone who can give King the love and attention he deserves. A forever home is ideal. I just want to make sure he’s safe, happy, and well cared for. He’s goofy, loyal, and has so much love to give ❤️

Story
Cali is a sweet girl once found wandering the countryside in a near by county. She was in a foster home briefly...then adopted, but returned because of her high energy level. She then moved to another foster home for several years as since COVID dog adoption are slow. She recently moved into boarding facility as her foster Dad lost his home during Hurricane Helene. Cali needs a home with a secure fence...preferalby a privacy fence and a nice size yard to play in when outside. She is very treat motivated, but because once out on the street she still tends to take treats roughly because overly excited about them. So no children under 12 years of age. She also tends to resource guard her food so does not need to be in a home with other animals that graze on their food all day. Cali will need to eat separately. She once had a best buddy Cooper, but was even wary about him being around her food, treats, and sometimes toys. She needs to be the dominant dog in the house to ensure everyone gets along..and not sure she would do well with cats or young children. Cali is very excitable and feels like a train if she runs into you. Having said all this...don't be afraid. She is a very sweet and playful girl. She loves hard rubber toys and she snuggles and gives kisses to the kennel workers.
