Story
Meet Honeybee 🍯 — a sweet, tiny brindle girl who is six months old. When we first met her, we actually thought she was much younger because of her size, but she’s got all her adult teeth and is closer to six months. She’s small and full grown at just 20 pounds, and will likely only reach about 30 pounds as an adult. We don’t know exactly what type of mix she is, but she is pure sweetness in a tiny, adorable package. Like Chloe, Honeybee was absolutely petrified when she arrived at the shelter. When you walked up to her kennel, you could literally see her trembling — that’s how scared she was. Thankfully, she’s been thriving since coming into rescue. She does best with other dogs, who help give her the confidence she needs to come out of her shell. While she’s more nervous around people, if there’s another dog nearby, she’ll happily approach for kisses — and if you have treats, you’re officially her best friend! Honeybee would do best in a patient, loving home — with someone who gives her the time and understanding she needs to blossom. With the right person (or family), she’s going to be an incredible little dog, full of love and loyalty. She’s currently available for foster or adoption and is ready to find the home that will help her continue to grow into the amazing pup she is 🐾✨

Story
Meet Chloe 💖 — a 10-month-old sweet girl who was found in a rural part of South Carolina and brought to one of our rural shelter partners after being picked up as a stray. When Chloe first arrived, she was absolutely petrified. Anytime someone walked by her kennel, she would try to hide under the bed. She wasn’t scared in a mean way — no growling, no snapping — just the kind of fear that makes a dog shrink and try to disappear. We knew we couldn’t leave her there; in a shelter environment, she wouldn’t have stood a chance. Thankfully, Chloe made it to an amazing foster home where she’s learning how to be a dog. She’s gaining confidence every day, learning to walk on a leash, and has discovered that her crate is a safe and comforting space. She does best with other dogs, who show her the reassurance and courage she needs to slowly come out of her shell. Chloe is thought to be some type of Border Collie mix, and she’s full grown at only 30 pounds, making her a very small, unique little lady. To top it all off, she has two different colored eyes, adding to her one-of-a-kind charm. This sweet, timid girl is looking for a patient, loving forever home where she can continue to grow in confidence, be showered with love, and enjoy the kind of life she’s always deserved 🐾✨

Story
Meet Turnip 🥕 — the only boy in the litter and an 8-week-old super mutt who came to us from one of our rural shelter partners with his five sisters. Turnip’s striking black-and-white coat makes him stand out right away, but it’s his sweet, gentle personality that truly wins hearts. This little guy is full of puppy charm and has the softest way of making everyone around him fall in love. Turnip loves other dogs and is happiest when he’s right in the middle of the action — playing, learning, and following along with his siblings and foster friends. He has the perfect mix of playful curiosity and cuddle-ready sweetness, making him an easy fit into just about any loving home. Whether he’s romping around or curling up for some well-earned rest, Turnip brings joy wherever he goes.
