Story
We found Freddy, neglected at a friends house and took him in. He was maybe a couple weeks old at that point, and we’ve done our best to train him and be a good home for him, however he still has a nipping problem and it’s starting to aggravate my other two boys. I love Freddy to death, and he’s super sweet, he’s definitely a very energetic, protective dog, and I know he needs more structure than our home can offer him. He knows sit, lay down, and picked up on paw because of our other boys. He doesn’t always listen either though and is picky on who he does listen to. He’s definitely trainable, I just know he’s probably a work dog, and I don’t have work for him.

Good with dogs,
Story
This beautiful 3-year-old labby girl (about 50–60 lbs) is as gentle as her name suggests—but she’s also a delicate soul who needs a little extra time and understanding to truly shine.   Sunflower came to us after bravely showing up, scared and unsure, on a kind person’s property with her puppies. Since then, she’s been learning that the world isn’t such a scary place—but she’s still very shy and takes time to build trust. Once she starts to feel safe, you’ll see her soft, sweet nature begin to bloom.   She’s wonderfully dog-friendly and finds a lot of comfort in having canine companions around. Because of her timid personality, she’d do best with older, respectful kids who understand that she needs patience and space. Sunflower is still working on her leash confidence, so a securely fenced yard is a must for her right now—this is where she feels safest and happiest.   Sunflower isn’t the kind of dog who will run up to greet you right away—but if you’re willing to go slow and let her come to you, the bond you build will be something really special. She’s looking for a calm, loving home that will give her the time she needs to truly blossom.   If you believe in second chances and have a soft spot for shy dogs, Sunflower might just be your perfect match. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $200. Story
Meet Archie: The Ultimate Love Bug Status: Looking for his forever family! Special Skills: Master of the "derpy head tilt," expert cuddler, and world-class kisser. If you aren’t a fan of doggy kisses, you might want to swipe left right now, because Archie is an absolute love machine. Archie didn’t have the easiest start to life, and his story almost ended way too soon just because he was scared in a loud, overwhelming shelter. But look at him now! Since moving into his foster home, this resilient boy has completely blossomed. While he can still be a little shy when meeting new people, once he knows he’s safe, his true colors shine through—and trust us, he is worth the wait. Why You’ll Fall in Love with Archie * The Sid the Sloth Vibe: Archie has been compared to Sid from Ice Age thanks to his incredibly endearing, sweet, and wonderfully derpy mannerisms. His head tilts will melt your heart on a daily basis. * The Companion Dog: He absolutely loves his people and thrives on connection. If you are looking for a loyal shadow, Archie is your guy. * Dog Friendly: Archie loves other dogs! Having a confident canine buddy around might even help him feel brave in new situations. Mr. Well-Behaved (The Stats) Archie isn’t just a pretty face with great personality quirks; he’s also got some stellar house manners down pat: * Fully House-Trained & Crate-Trained: He knows the house rules and handles his crate like a pro. * Leash Trained: Ready for neighborhood walks by your side. * Smart Cookie: He already knows "Sit," "Down," and "In" (perfect for heading into his crate or designated spaces). The Ideal Home Archie would do wonderfully in a home that understands a little initial shyness just means he’s taking his time to assess the vibes. He needs a patient family willing to give him a few days to open up. Once he does, you will be rewarded with endless affection, hilarious head tilts, and a lifetime of loyalty. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply to adopt Archie today and get ready for a life full of love (and a whole lot of kisses)! His adoption fee is $275 and he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and heartworm/flea prevention and heartworm negative.
