Story
Mudd deserves the happy ending adoption story. This old soul is entering his early teen years, and while not every chapter of his life has felt like a stay at the Hilton, he’s never stopped being a good boy. His most recent family loved him dearly and heartbreakingly had to say goodbye after only a short time. Mudd is wonderful with children, good with cats, and has even peacefully tolerated some very bossy dogs over the years. He’s the kind of dog that doesn’t ask for much — just kindness, comfort, and someone willing to see the value in a senior dog who still has so much love left to give. Mudd bud is an all-around good guy. If you are willing, able, and understand just how special senior dogs are, come meet Mudd. You may just fall in love with the very best chapter of his story.

Story
This is quarters (I found him in a box with a quarter in it). He has a lot of energy and is super friendly. We moved here last fall and he needs more space and time than I can provide as I work full time and my job takes me to different locations often. Sweetest cuddliest dog and I love him very much, he just needs more than I can provide at the moment. He is 3 years old, preferably goes to a home with a yard, he is house trained and does not often bark. Thank you. Also side note I’m working on getting him neutered.

Story
Hi there! I’m Archer, your future best friend and adventure buddy. 🐾 I’m a 1-year-old Black Lab mix with a friendly heart and a playful spirit. I love being around my humans—honestly, being close to my people is one of my favorite things. I can be a little shy when meeting someone new, but give me a minute (and maybe a kind word or two), and I’ll be your buddy in no time. I’m a big fan of other dogs—I love to play and have a great time with my canine friends! I’ve also lived with cats before and can peacefully co-exist with them. As for kids, I haven’t had much experience yet, so slow introductions would be the best way to help me feel comfortable and confident. When it comes to fun, I’ve got plenty of it to offer. I love chasing after a ball in a game of fetch, going for walks, and hopping in the car for a ride. If it involves spending time with my people, I’m all in. I’m still working on perfecting my house training, but I’m a smart guy and making progress every day. What I’m really looking for is a home where I can keep learning, keep playing, and most importantly—keep loving my people. Think we might be a good match? Give Heartland a call to set up a meet and greet. I can’t wait to meet you! Love, Archer 🐶

Story
Hi friends! I’m Dori 🐾 I’m a 1½-year-old Black Lab / German Shepherd mix with a big heart, lots of energy, and an even bigger love for people. Seriously—I adore humans of all ages and will happily be your shadow, your cuddle buddy, and your adventure partner all rolled into one. Let’s talk about what makes me me: 💕 Social butterfly: I love meeting new people and making friends 🐕 Dog-friendly: I enjoy playing with other pups! 🚫 Cat-free zone, please: I just can’t help myself—I think cats are toys, and I will try to chase them 🚗 Ride-or-die co-pilot: Car rides are one of my favorite things ever 🎾 Fetch fanatic: Throw it, I’ll chase it—repeat forever I’ve got plenty of energy, so whether it’s walks, runs, hikes, or backyard playtime, I’m all in. If you’re looking for a partner to keep up with your adventures (and maybe convince you to take just one more walk), I’m your girl. I’ll be honest with you—I’m still working on my house training. I’m trying my best and learning every day, so I’ll need a patient, understanding family to help me master it. I promise I’m worth it ❤️ More than anything, I just love being close to my people. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, and playful sidekick to share life with, I think we’d make a pretty perfect team. Give Heartland a call to set up a meet and greet—I’ll be waiting with tail wags ready!
