Story
She’s a beautiful mixed breed blue dog. She was a very small puppy and the runt of the litter. However, she has grown to a very good medium sized dog. I don’t think we have the space or the time to dedicate to get her energy out. She needs a home that can dedicate some sweet time with her. She is happy energetic and loving girl. She likes to rough house and play. She gets along with our miniature dachshunds and daughter. She does like to dig, and is why we are needing to rehoming her. She has gotten loose from our property we live next to a busy highway and in the country. I don’t want her to get loose while we are at work and get hit by a car.

Story
Hi!! Yolo here and I like to live by my name!! My 2 brothers and I were found dumped and left to fend for ourselves. I can't begin to tell you how awful it was! We were scared, hungry, thirsty and HOT!!! All I can say is we were never so glad to see somebody stop and rescue us. Angels I tell you!!! So here we are at Lucies and getting all taken care of. Did you know that they have swimming pools for us??? It's like being at a doggie spa!!! ;) Well maybe not quite that fancy, but we are well taken care of by the teens that work here and the adult volunteers. :) We are learning lots of fun things like walking with a leash and staying in a crate. We got the crate thing down now! We sure would like a furever home. Won't you please inquire about me our one of my brothers? I promise you won't regret it!! *** We strive to ensure our dogs are going to a safe, loving and caring home. Phone interviews are required for all adoptions****

Story
Hiya!! My name is Leah. In Hebrew, my name means relaxed. Boy is that ever wrong ;) So what we are assuming that is my sister and I, were dumped in small rural town off of a very busy highway. With us being puppies, of course we do not know to stay away from the road. There's no telling how long ago we had been dumped, if at all. For all we know, our mom was abandoned and ended up having us by herself. Anyway, we were found all alone and hungry. Some nice person contacted Lucies. There wasn't any room for us there, so one of the sweetest volunteers offered to foster us until room could be made for us. When we got to the volunteers house, it was noticed that both of our bellies were swollen and distended. Their first thought was that we were both pregnant. From one horror to next, we were actually filled with worms!!! We were so glad she knew just what to do. She gave us meds and got those nasty things out of us. Hallelujah!!! Now we are all better and running around and playing at the park with the other dogs. Such a better life than when we started! Now, it's time for us to have families and homes of our own. I sure do hope you're it! *** We strive to ensure our dogs are going to a safe, loving and caring home. Phone interviews are required for all adoptions****

Story
Hi there, My name is Oakley, like Annie Oakley. One day I hope to be as famous as she is!! So apparently, I began life on the wrong foot, or paw ;). I was a wanderer, yeah a wanderer, I roamed around around around around :) See, told ya I was gonna get famous one day, one way or another! My roaming is exactly what got me into trouble though. A kind police officer picked me up and put in the pound. NOT a good place to be if you know what I mean. I guess it's better than starving to death or getting hit by a car though. Luckily, Lucies was called in to come get me and let me tell you I was so relieved! These angels are a blessing. They scooped me up and brought me to the dog park and now here I am. Making friends and learning new and fun things. I'm a good girl and just want to have a family of my own. We could teach other things and play and run. Or, we could just sit on the couch and cuddle. What do you think? Maybe you want to be my family? I sure hope so! *** We strive to ensure our dogs are going to a safe, loving and caring home. Phone interviews are required for all adoptions****
