Although shy initially, she’ll warm up in no time.  At just a year old, she’s still young enough to be playful and curious — but mature enough to appreciate the quiet comfort of being near her people.   She’s fully vetted — spayed, up to date on vaccines, and current on preventatives — so she’s ready to walk straight into her forever home. Lucy does great with other dogs and would thrive with a friendly canine companion to help her continue building confidence. She hasn’t been tested with cats yet. When you first meet her, she may be a little shy — the world hasn’t always shown her consistency — but give her a little patience and a soft voice, and you’ll see her blossom. Once she warms up, she leans in for affection and looks at you like you’re her whole world. Lucy would do best in a home that understands that the most beautiful connections take just a little time. She has a playful personality but also knows how to keep it all in with her excellent manners. Tea party anyone? She is crate and house trained and all of the dogs love to be around her. Sophie would do well in a home with or without other dogs, she's confident in her own skin and learns quickly. We attribute that to her suspected Aussie/Lab mix.    She is playful and the most gentle young lady. She is young, we believe under a year and up to date on all shots, ready to make your home hers.  She has been fostered in a home with children since May and her foster family says, "Sophie is a gentle spirit with the need to please. She learns quickly and has folded right into our family. She will make any home so happy."    ##1754314##

Angus (previously known as Goose at the shelter) was adopted at the Brownsville Animal Regulation and Care Center in Olmito, Texas. He was born on March 15th 2024. Angus is currently 2 years old, and he needs a new home somewhere in Brownsville, Texas. I lost my job and my living conditions have changed, so i’m looking for financially stable owners who will take him on adventures and keep him safe and happy. Angus is the most docile dog you will ever meet, even when other dogs have snapped at him, all he wants is to get along.I’d like someone patient who can spend time with him. He is very energetic, and can get anxious with lack of excercise/socializing. He can get rowdy when playing so it’d be best to supervise any play with smaller children/animalsHe has a sensitive tummy: Hill’s Science Diet is his kibble of choice currentlyI’d also like to stay in contact at least for the first 6 months after adoption to make sure he’s adapting and doing well.
