Story
George was rudely left behind in a house (his villain origin story), but instead of becoming a tiny supervillain, he chose love. Iconic, honestly. Now he’s on the hunt for a forever home where “left behind” is not in the vocabulary. This boy is offensively sweet. The kind of sweet that melts into your arms like he was personally designed to be held. Personal space? Never heard of it. George’s life goals include being as close to his human as physically possible and collecting unlimited cuddles. He’s done well with both dogs and cats, so he’s totally open to having a full squad at home. More friends? Yes, please.George does currently pee submissively — which is just his very dramatic way of saying, “You’re amazing and I respect you so much!!!” It’s common in puppies and should improve as he grows and realizes he is, in fact, a brave and powerful little king.If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate cuddle bug who wants nothing more than to love you like it’s his full-time job, George is ready to clock in. 💛🐾Please apply to adopt at: http://www.pawsgh.org

She is the mama to our Island Litter.  We believe she is a lab/shep mix and due to her tragic life so far, she has lost an eye from catastrophic injury.  She needs someone with patience and understanding that rescue dogs sometimes need a little extra care to feel safe and trusting.  She does well with male dogs and non alpha females, no kitties though. If you can foster Catalina, please click HERE!  We provide all the supplies you would need and even more on request. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Check Me out ! ****COURTESY POST**** Daisy is a sweet just over 1-year-old girl who’s a little shy at first, but full of love once she feels safe. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body—just a soft heart and a gentle spirit. The shelter was really hard on her, but she’s come a long way. Now, she’s starting to show her playful side and absolutely lights up for treats, tennis balls, and back scratches. She’s crate trained, potty trained, and gets along great with other dogs. Daisy needs a patient home that will give her the time and love she needs to fully come out of her shell. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with the kindest soul, Daisy could be your perfect match. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Check Me out !++++ COURTESY POST++++ Lola is a human loving pup that has had some unfortunate life circumstances that have led her to being in a wheelchair.  We are hoping to find a kind hearted person that is patient and has enough hope in their heart to give this girl the best shot she can have at life.  She would be the best as an only dog or perhaps with a submissive pup. She has a very sweet and loving personality. Her handicap makes her a little insecure and she is a little dramatic sometimes.  Can you spare some room in your home and heart for Lola?  She is apart of our Amazing Grays program which assist with her medical for life! Do you have the time to give her love and maybe a little physical therapy and exercise? If so, please fill out an Interest Form linked below. Her adoption fee covers her spay, vaccinations and microchip. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Check Me out ! Meet Phoebe, or affectionately also known as  "Luna"!  Phoebe's adoption fee has been covered by a generous donation made to Amazing Strays.  A remarkable young lady who embodies the complete package. At just 5.5 years old, she boasts a stunning soft rust-colored coat that feels like butter and weighs a perfect 35 lbs. Phoebe was adopted out as a puppy from our program, but unfortunately her owner took a job overseas and returned her to the ASR program.  While she may initially come off as a bit shy, her warm personality quickly shines through. This active girl thrives on playtime but is also content to relax at home during the day. Phoebe does well in a home environment and has also adapted to apartment living. Ideal for families with older children, Phoebe would love to be your running partner, walking companion, or sidekick for any hiking adventure. Phoebe loves the water and playing with the hose or in a kiddy pool. She gets along well with other dogs, especially those with a similar energy level. Phoebe is house, leash, and crate trained, she also rides like a champ in the car. Be prepared to fall head over heels for Phoebe, her charm is truly irresistible! If your interested in meeting Phoebe, please click HERE to apply!  Phoebe is up-to-date on her vaccines, microchipped, and is spayed.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 19, 2025, 1:17 pm
