Story
We rescued Penny at age 1. She was found in the desert and the people who found her had her treated. She posted and we took her same day. She fit in immediately and was with us for one year with our other dog who is 8 years. Then something happened and Penny got in a fight with Maddy. We sent her to obedient school and it did not work. It is something she felt with only Maddy. She does not have problems with any other dogs. Something triggered her and not sure what it was My heart is broken I love her so much! She is great at commands and very loving. I do recommend her to be the only dog. Currently she is with the trainer for rehoming with other dogs and cats.

Story
We adopted her from an animal shelter but it is not working out with our other dog. What we know about her is she was a stray her whole life. She is 3 years old and very skittish. She is a good dog just needs someone that is patient and has no other pets or someone who is experienced with working with her kind of needs. She downs her food since she is not used to having any, and is protective of people she trusts.

Story
This is Boone. He is as stubborn as a dog could be. He is somewhat potty trained using door bells, but could use a refreshers. He does not learn well with negative consequences, only positive reinforcement. We are rehoming because he has a tendency to resource guard his food and has attacked my chickens and even killed one. He has never bit anyone, but my worry is that I have small children that are vulnerable to dogs. I have to create a safe environment for everyone in my home and I don’t feel it’s right to keep him in a house that he can’t fully he himself. I am requiring that you have no children and that you have had dachshunds before or currently, as I don’t want the chance of him being rehired again. He has lots of energy, he is eager to spend time with you. He is crate trained and does well without a lot of attention, he does not have any type of separation anxiety. He currently is fed a raw diet and we were waiting to get him neutered to let his back mature. Please no breeding.
