Story
Meet Milan 💙 Milan is a 6-week-old Dachshund/Terrier mix and the biggest of the litter, weighing in at 4 lbs 10 oz. Don’t let his “big puppy” status fool you—he’s just as sweet and lovable as he is adorable. His mama is an 18-pound Dachshund mix, so Milan is still expected to be a smaller-sized dog once fully grown. Milan is a gentle, affectionate boy who is already working hard on his puppy skills and starting his house-training journey. He’s curious, cuddly, and ready to learn, making him a wonderful fit for a family prepared for all the joys of puppyhood. If you’re looking for a sweet pup with a little extra to love, Milan might be your perfect match. 🐾💙

Story
Meet Candy! 🍬 Candy is as sweet as her name and just as delightful once you get to know her. This petite 2-year-old wirehaired dachshund mix may be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, she blossoms into the most loving, devoted companion. Candy would do best in a calm, understanding home where she can build confidence at her own pace. Once she feels safe, she loves with her whole heart—especially when it comes to snuggling! She’s fully house trained, enjoys leash walks, and is a joy to have around the house. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, making her a great fit for many households. Candy has made wonderful progress in her foster home and now happily greets her people with excitement when they walk through the door. And if you want to win her over quickly, chicken treats are the way to her heart! If you’re looking for a low-maintenance, affectionate companion who will happily curl up beside you, Candy may be the perfect match.

Story
Caramel Do I look like a Star? Actually I have one on my forehead if you can see it through all of the fluffy that I have all over my body. Then if you adopt me, you will have a star!! I am one of 9 puppies born to a Dachshund Chihuahua mom and went to a bottle feeder along with 2 of my siblings to be bottle fed. Mom was super skinny and 9 puppies were just too much for her to handle by herself. My sister Pearl was fussy and got the bottle feeder to give us Goat’s milk instead of formula. We loved it! Foster mom thinks that dad may have had some Maltese in him as I am super fluffy and a couple of my siblings that stayed with mom are too. It makes us all very adorable. I will probably be about 20 pounds when I am fully grown as I am 5 pounds at the end of the 2025 I have my baby making bits removed on January 5, 2026 and then will be able to go to my forever home after the contest is over. Wish me luck! Local Adoption fee in Texas is $350 Out of state adoption fee with transport and fuel surcharge is $600
