He was part of an abuse case and was confiscated along with his siblings when he was just a few months old. Jack warms up quicker with women than men, and definitely will need another dog in the home to play with. He LOVES other dogs, big or small. His favorite game is to get the other dogs to chase him. He is crate trained (he loves his crate and it is his safe place but he is fine being left out...he's not destructive at all) and potty trained. He loves to go for walks. He doesn't do fetch but will happily chew on his benebone or a bully stick and sometimes plays on his own with a stuffed toy. (He loves food, treats, chew bones...and also butt scratches.) Once he warms up he will give kisses and loves to cuddle on the couch or in bed. He will also happily sleep in his crate if his human prefers no dogs in the bed. Jack was born at the end of January 2022 and currently weighs right under 25 lbs. We think he is Dachshund, some kind of Terrier, and maybe some Chihuahua?? He has a very long, slim body but also longer legs than a Dachshund would have.
