Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. HONEY AND LACI A Bonded Mom and Daughter  Background Honey is a super loving, cuddly, intelligent Jachshund (Jack Russell-Dachshund Mix) dog who was found as a stray with her daughter Laci and her two young nursing puppies. The puppies have found their forever families.  Honey is a bit cautious on the first meet, then when she realizes you are a good person, she will crawl into your lap and once she trusts you, Honey will take her paws and wrap them around your neck for a hug. She likes to be close, likes to rest and be on a lap, and enjoys sleeping with her human at nite. Honey is very sweet and protective.  Honey is not good with strangers as she becomes protective of her family so we do not recommend children. Laci is a lot more cautious during first meetings and will not become friends until she is home with you and knows you are a safe person sweet, charming, kiddy cuddler who loves her mom and wants to cuddle whenever the humans are on the couch. Laci comes when calls and always expects to be picked up and given a hug when she responds. She is soo cute! What They Need Honey and Laci will do best in a quiet home with folks who do not entertain a lot or have children and family over. Both are incredibly intelligent. Honey tries her darndest to "speak" with her human when something is wrong or she is upset or needs a walk or to go potty. We have a travel crate here with a blanket on top. Honey will climb on it, wrap her arms around my neck and talk to me like I will understand, and look me straight in the eyes. she is absolutely amazing. I have learned a lot of her tones and body language and know when she needs potty, or she is worried about one of the dogs or just feels anxious and needs to be held for a bit.  How You Can Meet Them The Girls have been switched to a Human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition for her and her new buddies.                                                                                                                                                               To apply to adopt Laci and Honey. They have a Bonded Pair adoption fee of $850.00. All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. https://rompinpawsrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 23, 2023, 4:09 pm

A work-from-home, travel worker that can take a dog or a retired person would be best for her. She is a queen and loves to be spoiled! She is potty trained, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and healthy How to apply to adopt Tulip Tulip has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen.
