Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. HONEY AND LACI A Bonded Mom and Daughter  Background Honey is a super loving, cuddly, intelligent Jachshund (Jack Russell-Dachshund Mix) dog who was found as a stray with her daughter Laci and her two young nursing puppies. The puppies have found their forever families.  Honey is a bit cautious on the first meet, then when she realizes you are a good person, she will crawl into your lap and once she trusts you, Honey will take her paws and wrap them around your neck for a hug. She likes to be close, likes to rest and be on a lap, and enjoys sleeping with her human at nite. Honey is very sweet and protective.  Honey is not good with strangers as she becomes protective of her family so we do not recommend children. Laci is a lot more cautious during first meetings and will not become friends until she is home with you and knows you are a safe person sweet, charming, kiddy cuddler who loves her mom and wants to cuddle whenever the humans are on the couch. Laci comes when calls and always expects to be picked up and given a hug when she responds. She is soo cute! What They Need Honey and Laci will do best in a quiet home with folks who do not entertain a lot or have children and family over. Both are incredibly intelligent. Honey tries her darndest to "speak" with her human when something is wrong or she is upset or needs a walk or to go potty. We have a travel crate here with a blanket on top. Honey will climb on it, wrap her arms around my neck and talk to me like I will understand, and look me straight in the eyes. she is absolutely amazing. I have learned a lot of her tones and body language and know when she needs potty, or she is worried about one of the dogs or just feels anxious and needs to be held for a bit.  How You Can Meet Them The Girls have been switched to a Human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition for her and her new buddies.                                                                                                                                                               To apply to adopt Laci and Honey. They have a Bonded Pair adoption fee of $850.00. All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. https://rompinpawsrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 12, 2023, 1:59 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tulip Tulip is a female    Chihuahua mix approx. 1.5-years-old. We feel she has at least Chihuahua and Dachshund in her DNA. Tulip is a very sweet pup seeking a human she can bond with and be a BFF forever. Tulip is very affectionate and wants to be with her human all the time. Story
Hi my name is Cookee, and I'm the sweetest treat of a pup that you'll ever meet. People say I remind them of cookies and cream when I give them sweet kisses on the nose or bump up and snuggle with them when they're feeling down. I am a Dachshund-Basset mix, 8-years old, and medium sized about 30# full grown. Sitting on people's couches or laps is my favorite pastime as I get to snuggle close to the people I love, which is practically everyone! I LOVE OTHER DOGS TOO!! I definitely want a home with other dogs :) As I am a bit on the older side and lived on the streets until I was saved with my babies in my tummy. I have been living at my foster home and am ready for my forever HOME!! I will need a patient and loving family to give me a good life of exercise- LOL, playtime, treats, love, affection, and belonging. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
In the heart of bustling San Antonio, where the streets echoed with the sounds of city life, there lived two inseparable companions named Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. They were a unique pair of dachshund/terrier mixes, each with their distinctive personalities and a bond that could weather any storm. Judas Priest, with his soulful brown eyes and a heart as warm as the Texan sun, was the elder of the two. His silky coat shimmered like polished bicolored metal :), and his gentle disposition made him the perfect match for his spirited partner. Iron Maiden, on the other hand, was a whirlwind of energy with a coat as dark as midnight. Her playful nature and boundless enthusiasm for life were contagious. Together, they were a yin and yang, perfectly complementing each other in every way. Their story began on the mean streets of San Antonio, where they faced the harsh realities of life as strays. Despite the odds, they had each other, and their unwavering love and support kept them going through thick and thin. One fateful day, a kind-hearted passerby noticed the inseparable duo, huddled together for warmth beneath a tattered cardboard box. Touched by their devotion and the spark of hope in their eyes, the Good Samaritan decided to rescue them from the streets. Judas Priest and Iron Maiden soon found themselves in a loving foster home, where they flourished. They were house trained, well-behaved, and showered their foster family with affection. However, it was clear that their bond was unbreakable, and they simply couldn't bear to be apart. Judas Priest and Iron Maiden bring boundless joy and endless laughter to their foster home, proving that love, loyalty, and the unbreakable bond between two souls could overcome even the toughest of beginnings. They are now ready for YOUR HOME!!! Adopt these two and you will seal the deal for them for the rest of their lives :) Local adoption fee is $400 (together in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $800 (together and includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)
