Story
Scar is a pint sized guy, with a big personality! He has done amazing in his foster home, immediately making himself cozy and settling in with his foster brother and resident cat, who he is very curious about, but doesn’t bother. He absolutely adores other dogs and plays well with all sizes, although he prefers buddies around his size for wrestling! He`s also met kids and does great with them! He is an absolute cuddle bug, whose favorite activity is curling up under the blankets close to his humans. If you’re ready to bring home your new best friend, Scar is the guy for you!The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more.   Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. Story
Meet Twyla! Twyla is one of 7 siblings from our "Schitt's Creek" litter. All of the pups in this litter are so adorable and have lovely temperaments. They are well socialized, friendly and curious.  The pups are just under 3 months old and are still very small. They will likely grow to around 15 lbs max as adults. They are just babies and will need continued training and socialization. They are too young to be alone for long periods of time.  Twyla is a curious and social little girl and she will do well with another dog or as an only pup.  All pups are on a vaccination schedule, are microchipped and dewormed. They will be spayed/neutered between 8-12 months of age at our cost. Adoption fee is $525 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Meet Nina Rose! This little cutie pie is so sweet! She has the cutest little face and a lovely personality. Nina Rose was found as a stray. She is around 9-10 months old and around 10 lbs. She is social and sweet, affectionate and fun. The perfect little dog! She loves other dogs and all people. We think she may be a chihuahua/dachshund mix but who really knows. She is adorable. She will need an active home. Nina Rose is no couch potato. She can do well as an only dog or in a home with another dog. A yard is probably best for her so that she can get her zoomies out daily.  Nina will be vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $525 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
