Miniature Pinscher Coonhound

Male, 1 yr 4 mos
Seattle, WA
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Hi my name is Rufus,I am just a young boy who has a zest for life. I was injured when I was really young and I limped when my foster mom rescued me. I had surgery on my hip and I am now recovering from that. I am sure that in a few more months I will walk without a limp and be as good as new.I love to play with the other dogs here both young and old. I am not rough so even the smallest ones are fun to be with. I don’t live with cats so I am not sure what that would be like. I don’t live with kids either but I think I would like to have some young friends to play with. Toys are great, especially the chew type. But sometimes I get toys confused with shoes and my mom doesn’t like that.I sleep in a crate at night and sometimes during the day when my family goes out but I am ok with that because there is always a treat that goes with that.I know how to sit for a treat too. I will need some extra training if you want to teach me some tricks. I haven’t been out walking on a leash yet because of my injury but I am a smart boy so it won’t take me long to learn. If you are looking for a loving, quiet, and sweet boy to add to your family then just fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Loving life,Rufus. He has NEVER shown any sign of aggression. He is also a very quiet dog. He needs a home where someone is willing to help build up his confidence. If you want to give him that home, please go to and complete our short adoption form. Please contact Regina Flores at or360-710-4190  June 14, 2024, 3:08 pm

Dachshund Beagle

Female, Puppy
Seattle, WA
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Welcome Ginger to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 3-year old Dachshund/Beagle. She is good with other dogs. She has been in off-leash play groups with dogs bigger than she is and she does great. She is a hound and will scent off. She needs a fenced yard and not underground type fencing. She was playing games today when we were trying to leash her but she is a foodie and will work for treats. She has a nice sturdy long body. This will allow her to be a good walking companion. She would be best in a Ranch style home with fewer stairs. The longer body dogs do best if they don’t have to climb lots of stairs and keep their weight in check. She is healthy, vaccinated and spayed and is ready for her forever home. She is crated at the Rescue and she does fine in a crate. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. We would like someone familiar with the Doxie breed as we can see the Doxie personality in this little girl. Doxie’s bond deeply and usually pick one person in the family to be their person. We would expect her to do this in her new home as well. A smaller yard would be fine for this girl and only a moderately active family would be fine. She won’t need tons of exercise to be happy. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washingto, Portland(Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email if you have questions.
