Story
Hero was born in November of 2023. He is very sweet to family and kids and has a protective instinct like the Pyraneese breed. He is house trained and does not mark. The vet wanted to wait to neuter him until he was fully grown for his bone health. He does not get along with our cat anymore, and resource guards with other dogs. A home with no other animals would be better for him. He is allergic to chicken and is on a salmon diet. He will sit on command and wait to be told to eat. When he barks at neighbors or other sounds around the neighborhood, just tell him thank you and thats enough and he will calm down. He is crate trained and sleeps overnight in his crate because he still sometimes chews on things that arent his. He is wary of guests but having them give him toys has helped him warm up. He needs a secure yard as he likes to try to leave and wander if left unsupervised long enough.

Story
Meet Barley, a 1.5-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a big smile and an even bigger heart! This sweet, playful girl absolutely loves her people and is always ready for fun, whether that’s romping around the yard or soaking up attention. She has a positive history with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion to play with. Barley is housebroken and has done wonderfully with free roam of the home and yard during the day, then settles nicely in her crate overnight. She’s already got a great foundation and is ready to transition smoothly into her next home. And one of her favorite enrichment activities? A shred box! (Be sure to ask our Adoptions Staff what that is!) If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion who’s equal parts cuddly and entertaining, Barley is your girl.

Story
“Dude, this dog is on fleek.”“Dude, this dog is the best.”“Dude, this dog is phat.”“Dude, this dog is cool.”“Dude, this dog is the GOAT!”“Dude, this dog is groovy!!”Whatever generation your slang originates from, everyone can agree that Dude the dog is an AMAZING pup! He’s friendly, food motivated, knows sit and paw and LOVES attention and pets. His volunteer friends sing his praises, saying the following:“Oh my goodness, ?Dude!! ?He is the perfect boy! He is super friendly and easy ?t?o leash up. He is a little jumping bean ?when walking ?from his kennel to ?a play yard. Once in the yard he is a wiggly?, affectionate?,amazing boy! He wriggles his entire body as he gets up close to you in order to get into the best position for kisses! He stood rightnexttome so that I could pet his entire body! His tail doesn`t stop wagging the entire time he`s in a yard with a volunteer friend. He is playful and easygoing with his kennelmate and overall is just an amazing boy!?”“Dude was very easy to leash and was a great walker today. He wanted to sniff everything on the walk and in the yard. He is super sweet and absolutely loves getting pets.”Dude shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit (we do know that he previously lived with multiple other dogs). If you’re looking to bring home a dog to make all your friends say “Dude, this dog is fire!!” or if you’re asking yourself “Dude, where’s my dog?”, look no further than Dude!!
