Meet Ronin, a majestic 101-plus-pound Great Pyrenees who is 100% convinced he’s really just a pint-sized lap dog.

About Ronin
Ronin didn’t have the easiest start in life, but you’d never know it from his sweet and forgiving nature. He is an absolute gentleman with people and especially enjoys being around kids.
Despite his impressive size, Ronin has absolutely ZERO concept of personal space and truly believes he is a tiny lap dog. If you sit down, prepare to be gently smothered by a massive, furry cuddle bug who wants nothing more than to be close to his people.
Ronin is currently with a wonderful foster who knows and understands Great Pyrenees breed traits and is helping him brush up on a few important skills, including leash manners, appropriate introductions with other dogs, and learning that sometimes humans need just a little personal space. ❤️
Ronin’s Ideal Home
Ronin is looking for a loving family who understands and appreciates the Great Pyrenees breed, his gentle soul, and his very impressive size. Because we’ve discovered he isn’t particularly fond of small dogs, a home without small dogs will be the best fit for him. Cats don’t seem to concern him, and he does wonderfully with children.
He needs a family willing to continue the fantastic foundation his foster is providing, give him plenty of love and belly rubs, and finally let him be the cherished family member he deserves to be.
