Linny has come a long way! Initially, Linny did not like other dogs, but she now loves all 4 of the other dogs she is currently living with.  She would be lonely if she didn't have any dogs in her future home. Linny was moved into the house to recover from her spay, and since she's been inside, she's had no accidents!  She is finally starting to discover her puppy side, and loves to play with her foster siblings.  She has lots of energy and loves to go on walks and run around. Linny is a very sweet dog, and if we had any room, we would keep her in a heartbeat. She needs a family to give her lots of love and belly rubs. She had a family, who gave her away and then that family never came to pick her up. Mango is house and kennel trained, walks well on a leash, and is very curious to happenings in the neighborhood. Mango is well behaved in the house, spending time watching out the windows, and sleeps in a kennel through the night without a peep. She was aware of the fireworks in the neighborhood and barked at them the first few times but then slept through the rest. She does like to alert the human to people passing by and squirrels on the porch. Mango quickly quiets when the human thanks her for the alert.  Mango eagerly wants to meet all humans and canines.  After her initial excitement subsides she is a sweet, gentle, easy-going girl who loves car rides, being chased in the yard and sleeping in front of the air vent. She is also very smart and catching on to the new household routines quickly. We have her listed as special needs due to scar tissue in anterior chamber behind her cornea, likely due to an old trauma. At this time there is no recommended treatment. Her vision is impaired and could be blind in that eye. Her family would just need to be aware that she needs to be set up for success with her limited sight and know she is a bit head shy.  Approximate Birthdate:  Sept 2020 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines:  Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg) X-Large 101 lbs (46 kg) or more For more information please fill out an application.   CONTACT INFO The Animal Rescue Alliance (TARA) Web site: tarasdream.org Adoption Information & Applications: https://tarasdream.org/adopt Upcoming Adoption Events: https://tarasdream.org/events Email: email@tarasdream.orgJuly 14, 2026, 4:46 pm
