He loves to explore, play with his brother, and then settle in for a good nap when he’s ready to recharge. Jayhawk shows more of the Great Pyrenees livestock guardian side of his mix and takes his role as a watchdog seriously. He’s quick to alert you to anything new—moving leaves, branches, or visitors—and likes to keep an eye on what’s happening around the house. He is smart and already picking up on basic commands like sit, off, and paw. Jayhawk is still adjusting to crate time on his own and may protest briefly, but he settles quickly and will happily head to his crate after coming inside. Jayhawk enjoys spending time indoors, especially in cold or wet weather, and prefers watching the outdoors from a cozy window spot. He’s expected to be on the larger side as he grows and already has big paws to prove it. He’s a bit cautious at first but quickly shows his affectionate side—he loves to snuggle, curl up for naps, and be carried around. Playtime happens in short bursts, followed by plenty of relaxation. Nicknamed “Raccoon” thanks to his facial markings (not because he’s a trash panda), Spot enjoys laying in the sun and spending time with his brother. This is Willow. Someone said she was near death and needed to be picked up. It was right before holidays and I couldnt just let her sit there. I brought her home to save her life and now I need someone to give her a forever home. I feel like I was wrong for getting her knowing I couldn't care for her long term but I could not let her die. They said she is the runt and wouldn’t fight for her food. They said she is about 6 months. They also said mom was hit by a car and passed when they were younger. They said the mom was a Great Dane mastiff mid and dad was great pyrenees. When they handed her to me it was horrible. She couldn’t walk. She smelled like a dead animal for days after being bathed several times. She has put on some weight and she loves to snuggle. She has been around children and a big dog and she is great. Initially, Linny did not like other dogs, but she now loves all 4 of the other dogs she is currently living with. She would be lonely if she didn't have any dogs in her future home. Linny was moved into the house to recover from her spay, and since she's been inside, she's had no accidents! She is finally starting to discover her puppy side, and loves to play with her foster siblings. She has lots of energy and loves to go on walks and run around. Linny is a very sweet dog, and if we had any room, we would keep her in a heartbeat. She needs a family to give her lots of love and belly rubs.
