Looking to connect with anyone with experience with dogs with past trauma, rescues, and large breeds….who might be wiing to open their hearts and home to a 9 year old Pyr named Arthur. I have had increasing challenges with anxiety and depression which led to a hospital stay for panic attacks this week. I have pretty much arrived at the decision that it is really best for Arthur for me to find a loving and quiet home for him so that I can move home with my parents. (Moving home with him is not an option, due to many circumstances). Arthur is a very sweet boy, but he would do better in a house with a fenced in backyard and not in a noisy apartment by a noisy street (which is a massive contributor to my stress)……And I cannot afford to give him anything more than an apartment Ideally, he would go to a home with people who are familiar with rescues and a dog who is going to need some time to adjust to a new home after being with me for 7+ years

Ollie is about 3 years old and needs a home with a fence and yard. He is great when being kenneled and does not bark much unless he senses danger to his family! He is easy going and will be happy just laying in thr grass while he watches over his home. He gets along well with most other dogs and some cats. He has been around horses and cows and chickens that are in a coop. He just needs a family that understands the Great Pyrenees mind.

Olive is a great dog, is a total people person and gets along with cats and small dogs. Larger dogs she will need to be integrated with but she does warm up. She is kennel trained and comes with her current kennel. She is in great health and has no food sensitivities. She comes from a very loving household but unfortunately due to us moving she can not come with us. She would be a great family home dog, she is used to the indoors so she is not a working dog for farms despite her breed.

This is Willow. Someone said she was near death and needed to be picked up. It was right before holidays and I couldnt just let her sit there. I brought her home to save her life and now I need someone to give her a forever home. I feel like I was wrong for getting her knowing I couldn't care for her long term but I could not let her die. They said she is the runt and wouldn’t fight for her food, she is about 6 months, mom was hit by a car and passed when they were younger, mom was a Great Dane mastiff mid and dad was great pyrenees. When they handed her to me it was horrible. She couldn’t walk. She smelled like a dead animal for days after being bathed several times. She has put on swigging and is doing great. She loves to snuggle, has been around children and a big dog. She is not food aggressive at all. She does go pee and poop outside. She comes with a large kennel, raised bowls, and a bag of food. Story

Elsa is an extremely sweet girl who has been a fantastic member of our family. She was raised in an in-home preschool and is incredible around kids. She loves to play with her sister, a golden doodle and has never had any issues with her. Unfortunately right around the time her breed traits started to develop, my wife was recovering from a hip surgery and I broke my leg/dislocated my ankle. We have not been able to properly control her barking or independent desire to stay in the backyard. If it weren’t for our injuries we’d be able to properly train her and keep the breed traits under control, but we can’t. She will make an incredible companion for anyone who wants lots of love and cuddles and a pet who will always be vigilant protecting their home, or for someone who has land/livestock.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Linny has come a long way! Initially, Linny did not like other dogs, but she now loves all 4 of the other dogs she is currently living with. She would be lonely if she didn't have any dogs in her future home. Linny was moved into the house to recover from her spay, and since she's been inside, she's had no accidents! She is finally starting to discover her puppy side, and loves to play with her foster siblings. She has lots of energy and loves to go on walks and run around. Linny is a very sweet dog, and if we had any room, we would keep her in a heartbeat. She needs a family to give her lots of love and belly rubs.
