He's a big, goofy guy who takes his job as head of security very seriously and believes every yard needs regular perimeter inspections. As an Anatolian Mastiff, he's naturally drawn to wide-open spaces. A home with acreage—such as a farm or ranch—would allow him to truly thrive while enjoying the freedom to roam and keep watch over his surroundings. • Extra-large good boy • Leash trained • Calm, affectionate, and easygoing • Great with other dogs • Cow/farm animal friendly • Cat friendly • Wonderful with kids • Loves adventures and exploring new places • Dedicated perimeter inspector • Professional couch companion despite his size • Can hop a 6-foot fence, so secure containment is a must This handsome giant takes his responsibilities seriously—checking fence lines, supervising outdoor activities, and making sure squirrels know who's in charge. Once his patrol duties are complete, he's more than happy to flop down beside his people for belly rubs and quality lounging time. If you've been searching for a dog who's equal parts guardian, adventure buddy, and oversized cuddle bug, this goofy gentle giant is ready to report for duty. Just be warned: he may occasionally forget that he's not actually lap-dog sized. Duncan is being fostered in Sunnyside, WA. Transportation can be arranged for the perfect meet and greet.
