Story
Baby Cakes is currently in a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. -Baby Cakes came in with five siblings after being abandoned in the woods in late February/early March 2025. All of her siblings have been adopted and are thriving in their new homes. -She is a special case that will need a loving, very patient home. She is very shy and needs to feel safe and loved. You can see her disposition in the YouTube video attached. -Just turned 1 year old (January 1st) -Approximately 50-55 pounds -DNA testing shows she is 74% Great Pyrenees/18% Miniature Australian Shepherd/8% Boxer -Does great with other dogs large and small, would probably help her come out of her shell more. Small, yappy dogs stress her out. -Would do well with one-on-one attention -Best environment would be a quiet home. If there are children in the home, they need to be over 14 years old or so. -Needs an elevated bed or soft bed to lay on -Would need a fenced yard since she would be a flight risk (at least in the beginning when she's learning to trust her new family). Watch her video: https://youtube.com/shorts/cRBr78S6TkM See the rescue video when her litter was found: https://www.facebook.com/61556973118844/videos/641365195044815 Baby Cakes is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPPx3, Bordetella), has been dewormed and a fecal test, and on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $600, this is including all vetting above and transport cost. Story
Meet Crumble! Crumble arrived with us after being found as a stray puppy in rural WA. He was a little ball of soft fluff and we all fell in love with him. Crumble has grown up a bit since then and is now 10 months old and 50 lbs. He still has some growing to do as he is a large breed pup. We think he may top out around 55-60 lbs.  Crumble is a good boy and does well with other dogs. He would love an active lifestyle and being taken on adventures. In the home, he is trained well and is crate trained and leash trained. He is also fully house-broken.  Crumble is currently in a board and train program because he did have some issues that needed to be addressed. He is a guardian breed mix and this requires an appropriate outlet for his guarding tendencies. At times, he can be protective of his belongings (toys or other highly prized items) and his home (with visitors). This is a natural behavior for him but requires fine-tuning and training. His trainers have worked with him for some time and he is doing well. He needs an experienced owner, familiar with large breed guardian dogs and their specific traits. He is not suitable for a home with cats or kids but gets along well with other dogs.  Crumble is neutered, vaccinated and chipped. His adoption fee is $450. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Meet Biscuit! Biscuit and his siblings were born to mama Sugar. Sugar is a wonderful and friendly Retriever mix who has done a great job raising her babies. The pups will be ready to leave their mom around 8 weeks of age so we are getting a head start on finding them great families.  Sugar's pups are large breed puppies. We are awaiting the results of a DNA test but based on looks alone they appear to have Husky, Retriever and possibly Great Pyrenees in their genes. We will update the results of the test as soon as we can. We expect the pups to grow to around 80 lbs.  Dogs with this breed mix are not suitable for apartments and are not suitable for families with very young children or families who are not active. A home with a yard is a must.  The pups will need thorough training and socialization in order to grow up to be good canine citizens. They are being well prepared in their foster home and are handled and socialized daily. Many behavior challenges in adult dogs can be prevented by proper training, handling and socialization as puppies and we are committed to helping these pups find forever families dedicated to helping them grow up well. You can submit an application for the pups via our website savinggreatanimals.org. For larger litters (there are 7 pups available) we set up meet and greets in the order that applications are received. For example, the first applicant has first pick of the litter, second applicant has second pick of the litter etc.  The pups are on a vaccination schedule and will be microchipped and dewormed. They will be spayed/neutered at our cost between 8-12 months of age. This is not negotiable and built into our adoption contract. Their adoption fee is $595 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
