Story
Hi, I'm Puma,I sure hope you are looking for a great young dog to help make your home complete. If that is so, then stop looking, you found her. I am pretty shy when I first meet new people but all I need is a bit of attention to build my confidence and I will shine. I don't live with children but I have been around them and I know to just stay calm and relax. I like dogs in my pack and I will play but I would prefer to chill out and relax. I am what you might call laid-back!When my foster family takes me out for a walk I stick pretty close to them because there are a lot of street dogs and they scare me a bit. It is much better when I walk with my pack. I don't have many toys but give me a nice marrow bone and I will be busy all day! Cats are not my thing, unless they like to be chased then I am all in.Oh did I mention that I love to swim? It is the best thing when we go to the beach and I get to play in the water. I'm in heaven then. The car ride there makes me a bit nervous so I don't look out the window or anything. I just wait until we are at the beach then I am fine.I am pretty good with my basic commands like Sit, Come and of course, come eat! I know I still have lots to learn but I hope my new family will be ready to teach me how to be the best dog I can be. If it sounds like we could be a match then fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.I am all yours,Puma To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Goliath! He is a 4-year-old Anatolian Shepherd/Chow Chow mix. His name suits him as he is a VERY LARGE dog. He will need a strong adopter to handle his strength. Goliath is sweet with his people, food motivated, focused, and very active. He is dignified and can be quite stubborn at times but eager to please when food is involved. He would do best in a home with a big yard for him to run, play fetch, and explore! He is reactive towards other dogs, and needs to be the only dog in the home. Goliath is stunning and will need to go to a home with large breed experience. He is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400.

Meet Sadie, a sweet and gentle 2-year-old female Shephard mix with a heart full of love. Story
Gracie is the most gentle girl! She is a little on the shy submissive side but once she realizes you’ll be kind, she becomes a wiggly affectionate girl. Having another playful, confident dog really helps her come out of her shell so she must have another dog in the home. It does not matter the size because she’s so gentle and wonderful with them all. She’s just fine with the kitties too. Gracie appears to be a purebred Anatolian but she’s not big enough so she must be mixed with something. She is 6mo old and currently weighs only 37lbs. Gracie must have a fenced yard. She is fully crate trained and needs just a few reminders of where the door is and then she’ll be fully house trained, too. She is a very quiet girl so with a little age and training, she’ll be a wonderful office dog companion. She’s very gentle tempered and gets along great with kids but because she is a bit timid, kids must be at least 10yrs old. .

**NOTE: Currently Sabee is in Korea. Once adopted, she will fly to Seattle. Background: Sabee is one of the 21 dogs rescued from a dog meat farm in Anseong, Korea, this spring. Since then, he has been living with other dogs at our partner boarding house. Personality and Socialization: Sabee embodies calmness and gentleness. He’s easy-going and very submissive, making him a perfect companion for a peaceful household. Sabee gets along well with other dogs and thrives in a tranquil environment. His gentle nature makes him an ideal friend for people looking for a serene and loving dog. Behaviors: Sabee is a calm learner who enjoys pleasing his humans. He’s comfortable with car rides, baths, and nail clipping, patiently allowing his humans to take care of him. He also walks well on a leash and loves outdoor playtime. While he doesn’t have experience with cats or young children, his gentle disposition suggests he could adapt well with the right introduction. Health: Sabee is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his vaccinations. He also takes monthly preventatives for internal and external parasites. He’s a healthy boy, ready to bring peace and love to his forever home. Ideal Home: Sabee’s ideal adopter is someone who appreciates a calm and gentle companion. Whether you work from home or are retired, Sabee will be a loyal and loving presence. A quiet home where he can receive all the attention, love, and care he deserves would be perfect for him. If you’re looking for a serene, affectionate companion who will fill your life with gentle joy, Sabee is the dog for you. Adopt Sabee and let him be a calm, loving addition to your family! -------------------------- For more info about the dog or the adoption application, please follow the link below. https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/sabee/

Story
Welcome Reesaw to CCPAL Rescue. She is an 18-month-old Great Dane mix dog. She weighs in at 102 pounds. She is good with other dogs and came in with an older Great Dane named Planter. Reesaw does pull on leash but we will be working with that. She is moderately active and would be fine with a moderately active family. She is a good balance between active and couch potato. She is good with people and will bond deeply with her person. Great Danes are typically a little shy and they warm up and bond deeply to their family. She does fit this characteristic. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone who has owned an XL dog or a Great Dane would be preferable. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
