All she needs is someone to give her a day or so to warm up then she shows her true personality. Please peek at her video below and see how playful and cuddly she can be. She is perfectly house trained and loves little walks or wandering around a yard during the day. Maggie came to Pet Rescue by Judy after her previous owners had difficulty managing her interactions with another dog, including some toy-guarding behaviors.  Since being in foster care, Maggie has coexisted well with the family dog and even did well meeting cats.   Personality & Behavior Sweet, goofy, and affectionate once she feels safe Initially shy and reserved with new people Bonds deeply with her person after a few days of settling in When visitors come over, Maggie may choose to ignore them—she prefers to observe from a distance until she feels comfortable. Once she meets people a few times she is loving and welcoming. Care Needs Requires regular grooming Because of her long body, it’s recommended to: Provide steps or ramps to beds and couches Minimize excessive jumping to protect her back over time Final Thoughts Maggie may take a little time to come out of her shell, but once she does, she becomes a deeply loyal and loving companion.
