Story
Hello. Rosebud is a 12-year-old Shih Tzu mix. She has been with us since she was a baby and was mostly my mother's dog. My other dog doesn't get along with Rosebud, which is why we are looking to rehome her. She is up to date on all her shots and gets haircuts every few months. She is a very chill dog that loves to go outside and lay in the sun. She is house-trained, but with her age, accidents do happen. She has never been to a dog park or around children, so it's unclear how she would be with them. She also isn't crate trained. She also isn't very active due to her age. She does show some owner aggression, but she is fine when owners are not around. She doesn't have any serious medical conditions, but she does have mild arthritis.

Story
Meet Pebbles 🤍🐾Pebbles is a sweet, loving 6-year-old purebred Lhasa Apso who has been with me since she was a puppy during COVID (2020). She has grown up with me through high school graduation, college, and adulthood 🙏. She loves to cuddle 🥰 , give kisses, play, watch movies, and stay close to her person. She is house-trained and knows to go outside, but because she spent so much of her early life indoors, she can be nervous outside and does best with someone beside her. She is very loyal and protective once she bonds with someone. The Lord has put it on my heart to rehome her because my work schedule has become very demanding 😥 , and she spends too much time alone. I also have increasingly difficult allergies🤧 . I’m looking for a loving, patient family 💙 with the time and energy to give her companionship, play, outdoor time, grooming, and proper vet care. I want her to have the happy, playful life she deserves. This is incredibly hard because she will always be my baby. 🥹🤍

Story
Linus is being fostered in PA. He is SIGHTED.Linus is an approximately 4-5 year old, SIGHTED boy who is very sweet and quiet. He loves the humans in his foster home, his adult foster mom, but has a preference for her 7 year old granddaughter who visits often. He gets along with every dog he’s met (young, senior, male, female, big and small) and is very indifferent with cats, letting them completely alone. Linus does not seek out dogs to cuddle or play with but lives very well with them.Linus does demand respect from dogs by growling when they, literally, get their face close to his. He has never bitten, just a growl. He may be part billy goat the way he can climb and scale gates. For a while he preferred to sleep on top of his open crate rather than inside. He would not settle for being separated in order to get used to his foster home so since his foster siblings are experienced with fosters coming and going and he could scale the gate, he integrated into his foster home very fast and fortunately did well.Linus is an escape artist and cannot be trusted in his fenced in yard without being on a leash. He heads right toward the slatted gate to try to get through, which he can still do until he puts on a little more weight. He has gained over 2 pounds but still needs to gain more. He loves to be outside and is very good at trying to scoot out open doors. This is how he got away from his first family to be found by animal control.Linus does very well with pottying outside but he doesn't always have the opportunity to go out because of his drive to get out of the fence. It is anticipated that he will quickly regain his potty skills. He even goes to the door to wait to have a leash put on when she is not at work.Linus has some health issues that we are still trying to figure out. He came to his foster home with severe skin issues and swollen paw pads. There have been huge improvements with his skin inflammation but we are now waiting for the results of a recent allergy testing. His fur has started growing back nicely but he needs to wear a shirt at all times to protect his body when he scratches. He gets a medicated bath about once every 4-5 days and is on a limited ingredient food and homemade bone broth which is very healthy. He is currently on 2 medications. He has also had issues that seem to be in his sinuses that cause him to have discharge from one nostril. A dental issue has not yet been ruled out. He refuses to let the vet (not his favorite person) take a good look at his teeth .Linus will be on medical hold until we have more definitive answers to his conditions but please know that he is a very sweet and fairly young boy of 4-5 years, with no vision issues, who would make an amazing companion. He would do well in a home with or without other animals but needs a home with a family who can be very vigilant to make sure that he does not run out the door, climb over, under or through barriers to escape the safety of his home and property. Please know that you can still put an application in for Linus and when his medical conditions are under control, he can be yours following our adoption process!BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Bridgett is 7-12 months old . Shes a sweet girl but still stand offisg when approaching her . She just looks at you and backs away . She was part of a hoarding situation so when she’s running around the house she’s a normal active playful joyful pup but when it comes to picking her up you have to get her in her crate and then pick her up. She still needs more time to socialize and trust . She’s had major progress since being out of the shelter. She went to the groomers recently so good for another 4 weeks. She’s good for her baths. Doesn’t mind being brushed . She is not for the elderly unless they have no mobility ailments as she is hard to catch and active, she’s young and will come around with trust time and patience. She is crate trained and will go into her crate if you say go to bed. 352-844-3312 call or text We are a Rescue Ranch so when adopting your adoption fee helps fund homeless and deserving animals and helps us able to save many more lives!
