Hi everyone! Meet Scooter! He is a 3.5-year-old neutered Lhasa Apso blend with a big heart and a loyal soul. He’s microchipped, healthy, and knows all his basic cues and ready to be someone’s devoted best friend. Scooter thrives best as a one-person dog. He forms a deep bond with his primary caregiver and can be quite protective of that relationship. While he doesn’t show resource guarding over toys or food, he does become territorial with other pets and people when it comes to "his person." Because of this, Scooter would be happiest in a calm, adult-only home where he can be the center of someone’s world. He has no experience with children or cats, and while he tolerates other dogs, he prefers not to share his space with them long-term. Scooter is looking for a special someone who understands and appreciates his need for loyalty and structure. Scooter’s current family loves him dearly, but due to life changes, they can no longer provide him with the dedicated, one-on-one environment he deserves. If you'd like to pay Scooter a visit, please come down to the Rogue Valley Humane Society, Monday through Saturday, 12-4, to see if you're just the best friend he needs!All our adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, heartworm or felv/fiv tested, vaccinated for core vaccinations, treated for internal/external parasites.
