Story
Lola is the definition of a devoted companion dog and professional lap warmer. This sweet little lady has a big personality packed into a small package and is happiest when she's right by your side. Lola previously belonged to an elderly woman who adored her but sadly had to surrender her due to health issues. It's clear that Lola was a cherished family member, and she’s looking for a new person to love with that same unwavering devotion. She is incredibly people-oriented and seems to have a sixth sense for companionship. She sleeps in bed (no crates please!) and is the perfect snuggle buddy—quiet, cozy, and content to share your pillow. Lola enjoys the finer things in life. Dog biscuits/kibble? Lola would respectfully prefer something from the human menu. She loves walks, car rides, adventures, and simply being included in whatever you're doing. Don't let her age fool you—this little lady still has plenty of pep in her step. She loves toys, especially stuffies, and enjoys fetch and a bit of tug. She likes to run and play and would be thrilled to have a fenced yard, though she could also be happy with regular walks and exercise. Lola is not a couch potato! Lola has flourished in her foster home alongside her canine friends. While she lived as an only dog previously, she's proven to be very social and adaptable. She is making tremendous progress with cats despite having no prior experience with them. She could successfully live with a confident, dog-savvy cat, though a cat that runs may inspire her to give chase. Lola is a loyal shadow, a faithful best friend, and a cuddle expert all rolled into one adorable package. Adopters have 30 days of free access to 1-on-1 text and email support from trainers at Petcademy to help make every pet's transition into their new home as smooth as possible.
